In celebration of the Yankees 2009 season and run through the playoffs, Nike Sportswear’s 21 Mercer store has teamed up with FUTURA and the New York Yankees to release a limited edition World Series Hypercool Mock available exclusively at 21 Mercer in New York. The Mock is priced at $114, the number 114 commemorates how many wins it will take for the Bronx Bombers to win the 2009 World Series. Just like the number Manager Joe Girardi wears on his back in commemoration of what the Yankees goal is this year, there will only be 27 units available for purchase, the number of World Series titles the Yankees will have if they can win it all in 2009.
