Next up in the Reebok 25th Anniversary retailer collaboration series if Barcelona boutique 24 Kilates. Original as always, the Spanish team has chosen to give the iconic Workout Plus a mixed neoprene/leather upper, in order to achieve a softening of the silhouette. While keeping most of the sneaker in a dark green and black, the orange accents work really well on the mid-sole and logo tongue tag.

The sneaker will drop along with all other collaborations on February 15th, 2012.

Along with Bodega, Kasina and mita sneakers, 24 Kilates from Barcelona was invited to design their very own version of the new New Balance ML581 sneaker. We previewed the collaborative series entirely here.

In addition, 24 Kilates has again come out with its own exclusive pack in collaboration with Los Peperetes, a top gourmet Company that produces the best tinned food with the finest products of the Galician estuaries. The whole package is inspired in the Camino de Santiago, a long millenary traditional European pilgrimage way to the tomb of Saint James in Santiago de Compostela, Galicia, Spain. The scallop shell, often found in the shores of Galicia, has long been the symbol of the Camino de Santiago.

The store will release the pack on January 7th, 2012, at 5pm.

The other day we introduced you to the new New Balance 581 sneaker, which will first drop for Spring 2012. To give the new silhouette a bit of a push, New Balance has lined up a series of retailer collaborations, including Bodega from Boston, 24 Kilates Barcelona, Mita Sneakers Tokyo and Kasina from Seoul. All four have added their own little twists to the low top running shoe, with performance details.

These four collaborative sneakers are supposed to release in the first half of 2012, we will keep you posted.

Here comes now the last collaboration from the ellesse Fab Five Project. We already presented the sneakers from Sneakersnstuff, Harvey Nichols, colette and Grand.

Barcelona boutique 24 Kilates worked on the 117 vintage runner. As usual they proofed some good taste and chose to go with a naval theme. The upper comes in navy with red and orange accents. They placed their logo on the in-sole and on the laces. Matching the sneakers, 24 Kilates has also produced a 5 panel cap.

The sneaker will release along with all other Fab Five sneakers on September 15th, 2011.

After the trailer, here comes the full length introduction into the ellesse heritage Fab Five Project, where the footwear brand has worked with 5 European retailers on exclusive sneaker collaborations. Included in the project are Sneakersnstuff (Stockholm), The Grand (Zurich), 24 Kilates (Barcelona), Harvey Nichols (London) and colette (Paris).

The project will see an official retail launch on September 15th, 2011.

Today we get a first taste of the upcoming ellesse Heritage Fab 5 Project. The footwear brand has worked with 5 European retailers on exclusive sneaker collaborations. Included in the project are Sneakersnstuff (Stockholm), The Grand (Zurich), 24 Kilates (Barcelona), Harvey Nichols (London) and colette (Paris). Look out for product previews in the coming weeks, with the projects officially launching at the retailers mid September 2011.

Barcelona boutique 24 Kilates continues to celebrate their 5th birthday with some interesting collaborations. Just recently we showed you their work with Asics and with New Balance. Here is now a look at their “Friends and Family” G-Shock DW-6900. Limited to only 24 pieces, the watch will most likely not go on sale.

Following a quick teaser, we now have a first full look at the 577 from New Balance and Barcelona retailer 24 Kilates. You can’t really go wrong with the trifecta of classic colors, premium materials and UK production. Stay with us for a closer look and an official release date.

UPDATE: Thanks to our friends from 24 Kilates we can show you some much better pictures of the upcoming New Balance collaboration. Also, we can tell you now, that the pack will officially release at premium retailers on August 28th.

After previously showing you detailed images of the Gel Lyte Speed from the collaboration between Asics, 24 Kilates and Tres ZZZ, we can give you a detailed look today at the complete pack that will release along with the sneaker. The sneaker will come in a wooden wine box, along with a bottle of wine, a traditional leather wine carafe and a matching handkerchief.
