Though the body is done in traditional double breasted wool with a notched lapel collar, button down front and welt pockets at waist, the leather sleeves with distressed woven detailing and exposed zip cuffs make it a piece all of it’s own. 3.1 Phillip Lim previews a selection of footwear for Fall/Winter 2010. Designs take on a hybrid approach with a number of sneaker silos and animal prints combined with elements of more traditional shoes. Not bad, but we’d say 3.1 Phillip Lim still has a ways to go to before they’re up to par with some of the more successful high-fashion footwear takes.

3.1 Phillip Lim will soon be debuting their first footwear collection. Here we can give you a first look at their Meaden Sneakers. Inspired by the classic desert boot, the mid top sneaker comes with premium suede uppers in three colorways with side zipper. Similar to Common Projects, the sneaker still has its own identity and looks very solid. The sneaker comes out in July and will go for 275 USD. Via Men.Style.
