Last week we presented Eric Elms and his designs for the Patta sweater project “3 the Hard Way, Triple Threat, Patta Reworked”. The third and final artist in this project is Delta.

Amsterdam-based artist Boris Tellegen, better known as Delta, is widely known as a pioneer of 3D styles, combining his study of industrial design engineering with his graffiti art, thus creating architecturally inspired and visually spectacular works. He skillfuly experiments with a variety of mediums in order to create his futuristic paintings, prints, 3D sculptures, installations and what have you.

Ever since he started his own studio in the 90’s he has also gone on to work on countless projects ranging from DJ Vadim to Nike, Gravis to Calvin Klein, Stüssy to WESC. Over 10 million people worldwide actually own a piece of Delta in their homes, most probably without even knowing. Just grab a copy of Linkin Park’s Meteora album and find out!

For this project Delta created a cut up collage for Patta in his instantly recognizable style.

The Patta x Delta sweaters all feature heavy duty fleece, thermal linings, underarm ventilation eyelets, side slit pockets and will be available in-store only at Patta on Saturday December 8th and Alife Rivington Club (New York) (date TBA).

Here is the latest from Original Fake. The just released the “Mouth” t-shirts. The pack consists of overall 3 t-shirts, each having in the front a comic mouth, drawn by Kaws. On the back they have an “OriginalFake” print. The graphics seem to have a 3D effect. Each design comes on a black and a white t-shirt.

This is the second shirt in the GRN Apple Tree collaborative tee shirt series for the “Breakfast Club.” They have hand picked many musical artists around the Los Angeles area to be a part of the family in a series of clothing ventures. Last month they worked with Them Jeans a.k.a. Jason Stewart (www.themjeans.info) on a Pet Shop Boys inspired tee design.  They had a release party at Cinespace in L.A. and pictures can be seen at www.thecobrasnake.com.  This month they are working with Royal Rumble (www.myspace.com/theroyalrumble) on a tee and 3-D glasses set.  The whole design is offset to be three dimensional and the words were hand drawn.  They also had a release party in Santa Ana and the pictures can be seen a www.grnappletree.blogspot.com.  Next up is Young Americans (www.myspace.com/2youngamericans) out of Los Angeles and Hush Hush fame. There are 2 more artist projects in the works along with more parties and releases.

We showed you the Court Force Hi out of the Matsuri pack a couple of weeks ago and now here comes the full pack consisting of the Court Force Premium Hi, Court Force Premium Lo and the Air Max 95 360.
The sneakers celebrate traditional Japanes culture and Matsuri. Matsuri is a word used to describe traditional Japanese festive occasions. The sneakers feature a premium white upper and black, green and yellow accents. Nike also applied the technique on them, where the 3D design on the sneaker changes depending on the angle from which you look at it.
An interesting pack and also interesting application of new materials! The Nike Matsuri Pack is now available at Atmos Tokyo.
