New York label 3sixteen gives us an early look at their Spring 2009 offering with this video of their recent photoshoot. The brand continues to become more casual and less street, so to say. The Spring 2009 collection looks interesting and we are definitely looking forward to give you a more detailed look soon. Until then, check out the video here above.

Branching out into different lines of retail is becoming more and more normal for streetwear brands. 3sixteen goes a little beyond the expected, however, with this collaboration with Dickson Hairshop. Shampoo, candles and a match book.

3sixteen teams up with Reed Annex, the space belonging to The Reed Space, to host a pop-up store from November 13th until November 23rd. Make sure to check it out for past season highlights at great pricing!

3sixteen is going from strength to strength and continues their way forward into casual menswear this season. We give you a look at their Holiday 2008 offering. Melton wool bomber jackets, heavyweight fleece field jackets and a solid offering of button-down shirts make up the collection.

The fact that almost every look in the lookbook features a tie in it, makes it most obvious that the brand is going away from traditional streetwear. We are looking forward to see the line in store, because if the quality is in par with the look, they have a winner. Via Selectism.

3sixteen will be introducing their first denim this Fall/Winter 2008 season. Judging from first images they mastered the difficult task of denim making pretty well.

This fall season they will first be releasing the Slim Straight cut. The Slim Straight offering comes in raw unwashed indigo and black Japanese selvedge denim – each pair is cut and hand sewn in the USA. As far as details go, you’ll find custom gunmetal rivets and shanks. The leather patch is handcrafted in Portland, OR by Tanner Goods. It’s a 3oz. natural tan patch with a 3sixteen laser-engraved logo that will age beautifully as the denim is worn. Aside from some very discreet stitching details at the edges, they’ve elected to leave the back pockets free of embroideries so that they’re wearable for years to come.

The denim is looking really good, we also like the cut. 3sixteen added the right amount of details, and most importantly not too much. The denim will be released at 3sixteen retailers towards the end of October.

Today we present you two stand-out pieces from the 3sixteen Fall 2008 collection. The New York brand continues to develop nicely and is slowly transforming from a t-shirt brand into a contemporary menswear brand. The two pieces that we present you here today, show exactly that trend – the hooded blazer and the button-up jacket.

“…both produced in Canada and offered in striped Black and Natural fleece and limited to 100 units. The Button-Up Jacket features an aeroknit lining, a scuba neck hood, and contrasting side gussets and ribbing. The athletic look of the body is juxtaposed with the classic striped material and subtle tones. The Hooded Blazer is constructed of the same striped fleece, but mimics the cut and details of a traditional blazer jacket. The hood and sleeves are lined in satin paisley, which also reappears as a pocket square in the chest pocket. The waist pockets feature traditional blazer pocket flaps that can be worn out or tucked in, while the double-length cuffs are folded back and buttoned. Both pieces exemplify 3sixteen’s attention to detail and penchant for blending traditional menswear details with technical fabrics and modern cuts.”

We can now shows you a wider view from a line that is quickly shifting its presence and business into a more cut and sew affair while keeping its designs grounded in traditional steet fashion. Just a couple of days ago we reported about the collaboration of False and Sabre Vision. Today we present you the newly released 3sixteen x Sabre Vision sunglasses. They worked on two colorways. The sunglasses feature both the Sabre and the 3sixteen logo embossed. 
The 3sixteen sunglasses are now available at the Sabre Vision flagship store in Newport Beach and will also soon be available at 3sixteen retailers.

3sixteen launched their new website today and along with it also the Summer ‘08 lookbook. Once again the brand presents a very solid line-up of t-shirts in their upcoming collection and continues to create a distinct 3sixteen look. The collection is entitled "A Time To Kill".
