New Balance show off a trio of forthcoming British made 576 sneakers. Inspired by a series of lakes surrounding the Flimby area (where the shoes are manufactured) the sneakers feature mixed uppers in materials that include tweed, nylon and leather. Decent colors and round two-tone laces seal the deal.

AKM collaborates with mita sneakers and New Balance on a new CM576 release. The sneakers mix cream and white leathers in various finishes, resulting in a well-contrasted upper. Further details such as cross stitching and piping add an element of luxury. Now on pre-order at HYBAA for a late July delivery.

New Balance has released another impressive set of “Made in England” 576s. Though operations at the legendary Flimby Factory have been somewhat spotty lately, the quality is always spot on. That epic suede/mesh toe combo is looking clean as ever in the above navy blue, but the two grey versions (after the jump) are great options as well. Mita has them.

Bottled water brand Vittel has launched a new promo campaign with New Balance Japan, offering miniature NB 996 , 966 and 576 keychains with purchase. The shoe figures will be packaged with 500 mL bottles of Vittel during July and August, while supplies last. Mita Sneakers does not stop to work on interesting collaborative projects with New Balance. This time they got together with FRAT to produce the New Balance MT576S Bamboo Rake. The sneaker comes with a complete glow-in-the-dark leather upper, large embroidery on the tongue, as well as on the heel. The grey sole comes sprinkled, and all white parts on the sneaker come in patent leather.

The FRAT x Mita Sneakers New Balance MT576S Bamboo Rake will be released on 4th of April.

From the New Balance Spring 2009 collection comes the 576 Canvas. The sneaker comes in black and grey, with a canvas/suede upper. The “N” logo comes in 3M and the heel tab comes in patent leather. These are now in stock at The Good Will Out.

The New Balance WRC576 hi top sneaker comes in a tonal pack in December. The pack consists of a black, blue and green colorway with the entire upper coming in one color, including all logos and tags. Only the sole comes in a contrasting white.

Atmos will receive the pack next month.

Some nice new 576’s will be released in the New Balance Spring 2009 collection. This particular pack consists of a purple and an off-white colorway.

“But lo and behold, they’re coming to these shores for an official release early next year – the mix of canvas with Vandal-style seams, suede, metal top eyelets, plus 3M branding and padded fabric lining, heavy stitching, plus a particularly palatable use of patent leather is striking, but complements the shape with a softer, less severe silhouette, and while deferring from tried and tested suede and mesh, or premium leather is a risky venture, it pays off well, particularly on the purples.” Via Crooked Tongues.
