The uppers are done in a mix of high quality leather, mesh and pigskin (apparently the same used for Wolverine boots) giving the sneaker a premium feel. Bottled water brand Vittel has launched a new promo campaign with New Balance Japan, offering miniature NB 996 , 966 and 576 keychains with purchase. The shoe figures will be packaged with 500 mL bottles of Vittel during July and August, while supplies last.
