If you missed on out getting some rugged boots for this Fall/Winter 2011 season, then you still have hope this upcoming Spring/Summer as A Bathing Ape will be dropping these Mountain Soldier Boots, which can be seen here in their recently released lookbook. Slated to drop this first quarter of 2012, these boots will be coming in 3 colors: olive, navy, and yellow. These boots have the usual features such as a durable Vibram outsole, D-ring laces loops, and just an all around high-quality approach to the overall construction. We could probably do without the yellow, but the navy and olive are rather enticing, especially with elements such as the contrasting leather heel and tongue. Check out Zozo for more details.

We take another look at the upcoming much anticipated release of the Bape x adidas Originals Superstar 80s ‘B-Sides Edition’. The sneaker sold out instantly when released many years ago and ever since then has been one of the hardest sneakers to come across on the reseller market.

adidas will be releasing this new ‘B-Sides Edition’ colorway of the sneaker on August 13th, at select sneaker stores around the globe, including No. 74 Berlin.

Here’s a look at the full collection of t-shirts exclusive to the BAPE Pirate store in London. Going along with the theme, the shirts play up BAPE’s common imagery with pirate motifs. The shop will be open until the July, 2011 with new items releasing and bigger discounts each day.

adidas sent over an exclusive first look at an upcoming sneaker from their new adidas Originals “B-Sides” collection for Fall/Winter 2011. As you can see in the image, the sneaker is a new version the BAPE x adidas Superstar (first released several years ago) dubbed the Super Ape Star. Stay with us for a closer look.

When looking for the perfect face to launch BAPE® women’s wear in Europe, the obvious choice was Daisy Lowe. Lowe has been a regular at the London store since it opened its doors and is a self confessed BAPE addict. In a series of specially commissioned images by Kate Moross, Daisy flaunts her mix of saucy seduction and tomboy sass perfectly complimenting the cute and knowing cool of collection. The BAPE ladies collection will be available for AW11 exclusively on their European webstore.

For only the second time ever, A Bathing Ape will be re-opening their Pirate Store in London from July 2nd-10th, 2011. Staying true to the brand’s exclusive roots, celebratory limited edition t-shirts to match the theme and mark the occasion will be released every other day exclusively at the Pirate Store alongside a selection of discounted and hard to find items.

Would you wear these new metallic silver and gold patent leather BAPE STAs? As we talked about in our “Is Bling Coming Back?” article, these are certainly refreshing to see on a media-level, and remind of BAPE’s glory days (at least in the US.) Looking at the same brown leather and suede shoes all day can get tedious, so thank you BAPE for keeping things shiny.
