Selectism has news of a forthcoming A.P.C. denim jacket by Olympia Le Tan. Jean Touitou explains, ”Olympia is a friend who had the idea of embroidering the back of our classic denim jackets. the embroidery pattern bears the words ‘people never notice anything, the heart is a lonely hunter.’ I asked her to entrust us with these embroderies so we could use them on our jackets and add an extra.” Hitting A.P.C. doors in January.

French label A.P.C. adds another fresh pair of desert boots to this season’s ever-expanding range. Simple enough with the right shade navy in butter soft suede. Crepe sole keeps it comfy while the sheep skin lining works double roles by keeping the wearer warm. Metal hook in the top lace spot and a pull-tab on the heel through a twist into the details. Also comes in a more classic beige. Now in stock at A.P.C’s Zozotown store, though they may very well be found at your local A.P.C. retailer.

French label A.P.C. have released a fresh pair of ankle-height boots as part of their Fall/Winter 2009 collection. The crepe soled derby boots feature a leather upper with fluffy sheepskin lining. Now in stock at Tres Bien who describe them as “like walking on a cloud, more or less.”

Jean Touitou and A.P.C continue their global expansion with a new London-based flagship store. Designed by the brand’s in-house architect Laurent Deroo, the shop features a stunning interior. A.P.C.’s new Dover Street store is divided over two levels, and houses both menswear and womenswear collections.

After recently showing you the new tartan sneaker from A.P.C., we give you a look at some more Fall/Winter 2009 product from the French brand. The tennis sneaker comes this season in a new grey suede colorway with subtle branding on the heel. Furthermore we show you the new “Casquette” (cap) from the Fall collection. The cap comes in grey and red plaid patterns and is made of warm wool. Both pieces are now already available.

A.P.C. presents a new tartan pattern version of the tennis sneaker. The canvas low top sneaker comes with a tartan pattern on the entire upper and a clean white sole. A.P.C. is once again expanding and Jean Touitou reports, that they will open a new London flagship store in Dover Street.  The new flagship store will open in July 2009. Definitely good news for folks living in London.
