In support of the Occupy Wallstreet movement and lots of other protests against capitalism and banks going on around the world at the moment, artist Above has created a new mural in Miami, reading ‘Give A Wall Street Banker Enough Rope And He Will Hang Himself’. The mural came out incredibly long and certainly makes a strong statement.

We are curious to see what else artists will cook up in Miami come Art Basel Miami later this year.

Artist Above continues his European tour and his latest stop was Berlin. In time for the 20th anniversary of the falling of the Berlin Wall, Above has created a new site specific installation on the iconic wall. As usual it features a good amount of irony, symbolism and a strong message. Check out the new artwork in the above video.

Still part of the Neighborhood Spring/Summer 2007 collection is this Porter collaboration “Above” Messenger bag. It comes in two colorways and in a very unusual design for something coming from Porter, both in terms of material and design overall. Most Porter bags do not come with any graphics, at most with patterns. The bag is at this point available via various Japanese retailers and mostly even discounted as the Fall collections are on their way. Via Conope.
