We have already presented the Acapulco Gold Holiday 2011 Collection in detail last week, now we show you the lookbook, highlighting the stronger pieces of the collection, including hoodies, crewneck sweaters, beanies and caps.

Acapulco Gold follows up a solid Fall 2011 release with their Holiday 2011 collection. AG goes deep with a lot of sweatshirts (crews and hoodies), graphic tees, caps, and beanies; they even delve into the world of neck wear with some ties featuring a subtle cement print. Neck ties can sometimes bee seen as a corny gift option, but these would probably stoke some people out, especially those who picked up Cement III’s this year.

Acapulco Gold presents the 2nd delivery in their Fall 2011 line-up. This drop features an excellent wool Baseball Jacket as well as some classic Flannel Button Downs.

Our OG baseball jacket is American made tough and features premium 24 0z. melton wool sourced from one of the finest mills in North America. A quilted lining adds extra warmth for the colder months ahead. What better to layer over such a dope jacket than our Preppy Flannel Button Down. We developed a custom yarn dyed pattern for this shirt and finished it off in our soft and durable 100% cotton flannel. As with all of our garments, great care is put into the fit and finish of this garment so that you the customr feels like you’ve gotten more than your money’s worth.

Acapulco Gold presents their Fall 2011 Collection Lookbook. As usual the New York brand presents a nice selection of t-shirts, sweaters, hoodies, jackets, denim, a solid program of woven shirt, and also some really good caps and beanies. The graphics are on point as usual.

From the soon to release Acapulco Gold Fall 2011 Collection we preview ‘The Dog Crest’ Corduroy Snapback Cap. Featuring corduroy all over, including the brim, the cap features a nice large size embroidery graphic on the front panel. The cap will release in two colorways the coming weeks.

Acapulco Gold brings back their iconic ‘Spit’ series, that they introduced very early on already. This time the brand takes on the Japanese power company Tepco, responsible for the atomic plant disaster that occurred earlier this year in Japan. The t-shirt comes in three colorways, and was produced with Product in Tokyo, along with Selector JD at Deadly Dragon Sound in the LES. The tee will be sold exclusively in Japan and in the AG online store.

Acapulco Gold have produced a Regimental Stripe Crackle Tie that oozes style and attitude. The tie comes in two colors, red and black, which are inspired from the classic Air Jordan III crackle pattern and traditional regimental striped collegiate ties, putting a great spin on a classic silk tie. They’ll be available soon in limited quantities and unlike the Jordan IIIs, they won’t be reissued.

This season, Acapulco Gold introduces four new hats styles: 2 New Era fitteds, 1 snapback and 1 camo camp cap. They’ve re-released their Angry Lo fitted, this time with camo pants; created a Big Cat snapback, paying homage to the great college teams; designed a classic sports-inspired “A” New Era, and crafted a military 5-panel out of Japanese fabric.

Following a peek into the Acapulco Gold Summer 2011 collection, we can now show you the lookbook as shot by Jay Maldonado on the streets of New York. “Our main focus as always is to make the wearer stand out in the crowd by keepng it rough and rugged, yet understated and sophisticated. New York brand Acapulco Gold releases their new Summer 2011 Collection this week. Included in the new range are once again a strong line-up of caps, t-shirts, shirts and denim. We continue to really like the twisted takes of the brand on classic iconography and logos. The line also includes two skateboard decks.
