The boys at Lanvin take their penchant for quirky details one step further. Whilst their sneakers have been met with great accolades from the streetwear set, Lanvin’s menswear is decidedly more fanciful. These sneaker-centric tie pins and cufflinks attempt to bridge that gap.. we can’t quite decide whether or not they’ve succeeded, but it’s an interesting move nonetheless. Japanese label RATS have released a brass ash tray in the most literal interpretation of the brand name. Not too much to be said that isn’t evident in the photo – the back opens up to become a fully functional ashtray. Pretty eye catching. Now in at Blackflag in Japan. (warp)

BBC previews an interesting new winter accessory. The Sweat Balaclava is exactly what it sounds like – check the photo for the details. Will be available in ivory (as pictured) as well as black and olive drab this November 18th at The Ice Cream Store Tokyo.

After already seeing XLARGE’s contribution to the SFIDA soccer project, we’re now met with look into SILAS’ goods. Just like XLARGE, they worked on a soccer ball and a soccer jersey. The ball is a simple all-black number with a white SILA logo. The jersey features a greyscale gradient overlaid with a Union Jack/Iron Cross hybrid. Scheduled to release November 24th at Zozo.

Our brothers at Selectism offer a look into a colorful new laptop sleeve label called Alkr. “Alkr operates on a simple premise – the sleeves that protect our technological bits and bobs should be built to the same exacting standards as those bits and bobs. Primarily this means laptops and iPods. There’s also a secondary premise – the pieces that protect our beloved laptops and iPods should be fun, should cheer you up, and should make travel a bit easier. Our brothers over at Selectism have a look into Ksubi’s 2010 eyewear offering. “By minimising the detail of the curves, acetates, metals and lenses, the flatness and sharpness of the finish and appearance of each frames is enhanced… Ksubi’s own acetate developments include unique digital printed leopard design & layered colour acetates with laser cuts in colours such as ksubi leopard print, leopard tortoiseshell, charcoal, navy, ivory frosts and fuchsia.” Overall the collection feature 13 new acetate frames.
