Active continues their “Drop Sneakers Not Bombs” initiative and has finally released the Active x Taka Hayashi x Vans Pack. Consisting of the Half Cab Pro and the J-Lay Mid, the artist made a lot of changes to the classics, adding premium materials, embroideries, as well as other details. The outcome is a strong pack, that plays with everything but the colors, something we appreciate a lot.

The Active x Taka Hayashi x Vans Pack is now on sale at Active stores and online.

We present you two styles out of the Vans Spring 2009 collection, that will be exclusively available at Active already before Thanksgiving. They will be getting in a Half Cab and a Chukka Low. Two great looking sneakers, with just enough details to make them interesting. The Half Cab is part of the Varsity Jacket pack and the Chukka Low has been designed by the Vans skate team.

Diamond Supply Co. teamed up with Active Mailorder to produce a series of t-shirts for rider Paul Rodriguez. The line-up consists of overall four t-shirts, that stay rather classic and subtle in terms of design. All four come in black. The t-shirts will be released before Christmas.

Emerica got together with Active to create a couple of collaborate shoes. The first to come in the “Fresh vs Hesh” pack from the collaboration, is the Andrew Reynolds designed Nailer.

The Nailer is a mid-top, vulcanized constructed shoe with tonal stitching, metal eyelets, and waxed cotton laces constructed to the exact specifications of Active Team Rider Andrew Reynolds. The FRESH version features a flashy black patent leather upper, contrasting green & white interior and foot-bed, and nice green sole that pops just right.The HESH version is low-key off-white suede with a tonal liner, foot-bed and sole.

Japanese artist Taka Hayashi did not only work on his own collaborative pack with Vans, but this time got together with Vans and Active for their “Drop Sneakers Not Bombs” initiative. Releasing in November is a pack of two sneakers designed by the artist. Once again lots of customization has been added to the sneaker, without playing too much with color, rather with patterns and materials.

Active Mailorder out of California has gotten together with Vans to collaborate on the Half Cab model. The outcome is definitely impressive, as they have added a lot of details to the classic. Rather than being noticed for a crazy choice of color, Active kept it all black, added embroideries, embossed graphics, and took some minor inspiration on the lacing from hiking boots. The Hundreds got together with Active Mailorder on a t-shirt. They worked on a special version of their Adam The Bomb character for the occasion. The t-shirt is exclusively available at Active.
