After recently presenting you the first release of the adidas Originals Rod Laver Series, which included collaborations with DQM, Undefeated, Limiteditions and VA, we give you a look today at the next drop of the series, this time featuring collaborative sneakers with Solebox, D-Mop, Wood Wood and Goodfoot.

Once again each partner created an interesting new look for this 40 year old classic, bringing it back to live today. D-Mop used silver leather all over the upper, Goodfoot gave the sneaker a varsity jacket styling, Solebox took influences from hiking, and Wood Wood concentrates on premium details and an overall subtle look. Finally CLOT gave the sneaker an all pony skin upper.

The third and final drop of the 3Way Consortium project from adidas Originals sees the series heading East for a work around between some of the most respected sneaker retailers and influencers of the region.

With the choice of working on the 5 models together in whatever manner they chose Acu, Crooked Tongues (London based but with strong ties to Thailand), D-Mop and VA decided to pair up on two shoes each and all collaborate together on the fifth. The 5 retailers worked on the Samba, Forum Mid, Nizza, Stan Smith and the Superstar, all together covering the most prominent sneakers in the adidas Originals catalogue. The sneakers will go on sale at adidas Consortium retailers on July 18th.

ACU, the sneaker store in Shanghai by the CLOT crew, will soon be closing its doors. But do not worry, not for long. They are planning on re-opening some time later this year with a new concept. The idea is to bring a concept to Shanghai, that mixes the ACU and the Juice concepts, thus bringing sneakers but also much more select clothing brands to the Chinese market. Hopefully we know more soon. You can expect a re-opening towards the end of the summer, beginning of fall.

After an initial preview last week, we can give you some more detailed images of the Subcrew x ACU 2nd Anniversary product. It turns out that they created sets consisting of mesh caps and cycling jackets, coming wrapped as packs in plastic. The sets are coming in black and in light blue and are looking great.

ACU Shanghai will be releasing the sets from January 18th.

Hong Kong’s Subcrew has worked with Shanghai’s ACU on some special product to celebrate the stores 2nd anniversary. The line-up includes a t-shirt, a jacket and a mesh cap, as well as a CD. The release date has not been announced to far, but we will keep you posted.

A while back we gave you already a detailed look at all the sneakers of the Adidas aZX collection, that will be released on the 8th of August. The Adidas ZX 800 by ACU is among them and today we give you a detailed look at the pack it comes with.
The design of the sneaker tries to combines eastern and western cultures. The base colors are red and yellow from the Chinese flag. The CLOT Royale silk pattern was used on the body, tongue as well as the bag the sneaker comes with. Furthermore the sole has a message to Adidas. The pack also comes with wooden shoe buckles with logo and slogan embossed. Also you have the choice of 4 different laces that come with the sneakers.
The ACU x Adidas ZX 800 will be releaed on the 8th of August at all aZX dealers, ACU Shanghai, CLOT online store and also in the ACU Pop-up store on the 4th floor in the newly opened Adidas Brand Center in Beijing.

ACU and CLOT present their Papamamson Panda charity t-shirt. The t-shirt design has been created by Hong Kong based artist Eric So. All profits from the t-shirt sale will be donated to the Chinese Red Cross to support the earthquake victims.
The t-shirt is now available at ACU in Shanghai.

We bring you the first part of the Adidas aZX collection, a massive effort by Adidas in which they invited high profile brands and stores from around the globe to design their very own Adidas ZX model. This first part consists of collaborations with ACU, Bodega, Colette, D-Mop, Limiteditions, Foot Patrol, Goodfoot and Huf.
You will be impressed by the designs in this collection in terms of originality as well as use of materials and colors. There is a lot more to come in the following months, but what you see here is already a lot to digest and will be releasing on August 8th.

In our previous post we showed you the video with some background information on the first set (A To H) of collaborations of the adidas aZX collection. Here we give you the essentials – the sneakers. The release of the adidas aZX collaboration collection is getting closer and with that we can show you a more detailed look at the first collaborators, as well as the final product.
