Converse Addict is the label’s Japanese “high-end” Chuck Taylor All-Star line. Taking the 100 year old sneaker and endowing it with premium materials and a Vibram soles amongst improved cushioning and, of course, limited distribution results in what could be referred to as the “ulimate” Chuck. A vintage look, loaded with the latest technology. This season sees the release of several heavy canvas modesl in multi-colored green/red/purple, faded black and pure white.

For the second time Addict UK and Rogue Status get together. After first releasing a reversible windrunner, they now worked on some board shorts. Once again the piece features the Rogue Status gunshow all-over pattern in white on black. The collaborative piece will be released on June 5th and is limited to only 150 pieces worldwide.

UK brand Addict has collaborated with two of their long term retail partners. In London they worked with Bond International and in Barcelona they worked with 24 Kilates. Each collaborative t-shirt comes in various colorways and is now available in the Addict Online Store.

Among the first pieces of their Spring/Summer 2009 collection, Addict presents some nice lightwight shell jackets. From solid colors, to plaid and the infamous Shecamo by SheOne, the jackets come in a wide choice of color and design.

Of course we could not have come to Barcelona without visiting our friends from Addict at Bread & Butter. The UK brand stays true to their origins and continues to make outstanding outerwear. In the meantime their denim program should also not be overlooked.

Today we took a closer look at their extended high end part of the Fall/Winter 2009 collection. Addict is introducing subtle styles in all categories with a great deal of attention to detail. We checked out some shirts, jackets and hoodies for you. David from Addict was also nice enough to model some of the latest technical gear for us!

Addict continues their Star Wars apparel collaboration this season, introducing several new designs by Mitch in the “Outline Series”. The series consists of three t-shirts, each one feturing a character from Star Wars, re-drawn by Mitch in the outline style. The limited edition series comes in special boxes and is now available in the Addict online store.

After recently working with Grenade, Rogue Status comes with another jacket, this time in collaboration with UK brand Addict. They chose to brand the Reversible Method Zip 2-Tone Jacket. On one side the jacket has a rather classic black/white panel design. The other side features the trademark gunshow pattern all-over print by Rogue Status.

Limited to only 100 pieces, the Rogue Status x Addict Reversible Method Zip 2-Tone Jacket will be released at the Addict London store on November 28th.

Hidden technology is the order with The Epic C-Law Jacket from Addict. Constructed with Epic cotton by Nextec, which is both water and rind repellent and also environmentally conscious, the jacket has a casual cut and feel. The encapsulated fabric technology Nextec utilizes effectively turns materials that are otherwise susceptible to weather impervious. Thus, an un-waxed cotton jacket ready for all action.

As part of their Fall/Winter 2008 collection, Addict presents the Originators Series. This t-shirt collection consists of collaborations with some of the most prominent brands and artists based in Los Angeles. The line-up includes Freshjive, XLarge, FUCT and artist Grave One.
Each brand/artist designed one graphic, which will be available in three colorways this Fall/Winter season.

As part of their Fall/Winter 2008 collection, UK’s Addict got together with Syd Maed, well respected futuristic concept artist, who is also responsible of the animations in Bladerunner.
The jacket is black, fully taped, comes with a hood and features the Syd Maed "Organik" print.
