adidas OT Tech Campus 80s Pack Spring 2011

adidas OT Tech Campus 80s Sneakers Pack Spring 2011

The adidas OT Tech collection has dropped some interesting reworks of adidas classics in recent seasons. Today we preview the Spring 2011 Campus 80s Pack from the line.

“It gives the shoe a reworking that keeps the main features, but gives them a suede toecap and some extensive amounts of paneled canvas…in writing that sounds terrible. In execution, they look great. The padded lining and heeltab are more than a little bit KZK Campus—which is, again, no bad thing—and there’s enough point-of-difference in the colours to let this trio stand alone on its own merits. Yellow and navy or two shades of blue are cool, but it’s the Phoenix Suns style mix of orange and purple that works the best.”

Look out for a release January 2011.

Detailed images of the sneakers follow after the jump.

adidas Consortium “The Unforseen” Pack Drop 2 – Campus GID, Gazelle OG, Spezial

adidas Consortium "The Unforseen" Pack Drop 2 - Campus GID, Gazelle OG, Spezial

The Unforeseen pack from adidas Consortium features some of the archives most sought after silhouettes re-worked with special materials and features to create a collection of truly unforeseen kicks. Drop 2 sees fresh interpretations of three all-time archival favourites, namely, the Campus, Gazelle and Spezial.

The Campus GID at first glance looks like an all-white, premium leather version of the shoe, albeit subtly Consortium branded. But flip the lights and the Unforeseen becomes well and truly seen as the whole glow in the dark aspect of this version is revealed.

The Gazelle OG features a navy, rip-stop nylon upper sat on a translucent midsole, the 3-Stripes are also in matching navy while contrast is provided in the form of flamingo adidas Gazelle branding on the upper and the laces.

The Spezial This features the four-zone sole construction on the outsole from the OG model while the upper switches things up considerably with a forest green, textile upper offset with contrasting leather 3-Stripes and heel tab.

Look out for a release of all three sneakers soon. Many more images follow after the jump.

Adidas NBA Campus Collection

RTEmagicC S06.jpg Adidas NBA Campus Collection
The people over at Adifans have now revealed the Adidas NBA Campus collection. Of course every team gets their own Adidas Campus and they split it overall into several collections – camo series, industrial series, oddity series, denim series, outdoor series and white series. Each collection consists of 5 sneakers with similar characteristics in terms of design.
We have to admit that we have never been big fans of these team sneakers. They always end up being too loud in terms of design. This Campus Collection is a little better in that sense.
Check them all out after the jump.
