In September 2011 adidas Originals celebrates the 10th anniversary of its first flagship store in Berlin-Mitte. It’s been 10 years since adidas Originals started a dedicated streetwear offer and it has developed into the iconic sportswear label for the street. Berlin was the first city to open a dedicated concept store in 2001 offering the latest and greatest of the brand ever since. Embracing this occasion, adidas Originals introduces a highly limited 10th Anniversary “Made For Berlin” Pack.

The exclusive product pack “Made For Berlin” will hit retail on Saturday, September 10th and the adidas Originals Store in Berlin-Mitte will host a “10th Anniversary Fleamarket” in the backyard to pay homage to the original store concept from 2001.

For now we can only show you some first teaser images, with the full product being revealed to you a bit closer to the release. We can already tell you now, that you will not be disappointed.

adidas Originals recently unveiled their new “all Originals” campaign which brings together several different adidas Originals supporters like Snoop Dogg, Dwight Howard, Josh Smith, Big Sean, Jeremy Scott, Sky Ferreira, Odd Future, DJ Neil Armstrong and HVW8 to combines music, fashion and sport with the most popular Iconics sneakers of last 40 years – the Superstar, Gazelle, Samoa and Campus.

To further celebrate the campaign and show their appreciation for their biggest supporters, adidas Originals created less than 10 custom adidas Icon Kits, packed with a 4 Originals t-shirts a box of adidas sneaker chocolates (for each of the Superstar, Gazelle, Samoa and Campus) and a personalized pair of Superstars.

We received a kit here at Highsnobiety, customized for our Americas Editor Pete Williams, with “p. williams” lasered on the right heel, the HS crown logo lasered on the left and wooden PETER WILLIAMS lace locks.

The campaign celebrates the depth of the Originals brand, combining music, fashion and sport with the most popular Iconics footwear styles over the past 40 years, the Superstar, Gazelle, Samoa and Campus.

Continuing our preview of the adidas Originals by Originals Jeremy Scott Spring/Summer 2012 collection, we take a look at the latest version of the JS Wings Sneaker. After 3M, clear, glow in the dark and camo, Jeremy keeps the materials interesting with a washed denim sneaker, complete with contrast stitch details. The clear sole works. If you can pull them off, go for it.

In addition to the Forest Hills Mid DB and ZX800 updates for the Fall/Winter 2011 season, David Beckham and James Bond (of Undefeated) also worked on the Supersaddle 80s. Casual, sporty and refined, the Beckham Supersaddle 80s sneakers take on the cold with canvas and suede uppers, leather sockliners, sandwich mesh tongues, and leather laces. adidas Originals aligns with Japanese label NEXUSVII on a new shoe that draws inspiration from one of the most iconic sneakers of all-time. Though the upper remains a plain black canvas, an assortment of tweaks and details – a leather side guard, white striping and various logo prints – ensure this is one of NEXUSVII’s own. The shoes will be released on April 29, 2011 in Japan.

adidas Originals gets together with Japanese brand HECTIC on the YOPS! Immotile sneaker. Previously we have seen a collaboration with Brooklyn Machine Works on the low top cycling sneaker. HECTIC gives it a mixed material upper, mostly playing with blue tones. The HECTIC logo tag appears on the side panel. Expect a release May 2011.

Once again Japanese retailer Kinetics is getting together with DJ Muro. This time around they worked with adidas Originals on two sneakers – the M Attitude XL and the Ultra Star XL. Both come in premium black leathers and Gucci color accents in green/red. Kinetics and Muro created a bag, t-shirt and New Era cap to go along with the sneakers. The complete pack will only be releasing this coming week.

This weekend Undefeated, adidas and the NBA bring you an exclusive All-Star Pack, which consists of a pair of adidas Forum sneakers and a set of exclusive apparel. The first 40 customers at the La Brea location will receive a free Shooting Jacket and t-shirt with purchase of the Forum sneakers, while those in Santa Monica and Silverlake will receive a free t-shirt (available in East, West or LA colors) with shoe purchase.
