UK television channel Sky1 has produced a parody of the Celebrate Originality “House Party” spot by adidas Originals, to promote the Simpsons. Definitely worth checking out.

As most of you should know by now, adidas Originals is celebrating their 60th anniversary this year. The House Party initiative has traveled the world and finally adidas has released the full length video. Check it out now, you will see lots of familiar faces in there!

adidas Originals has released some great new video content. Among the new videos they also released an interview with Jeremy Scott, with whom they have just collaborated on the Originals by Originals range. The designer talks about inspiration and abot being original nowadays.

In the second part of the interview, Jeremy Scott talks about working with adidas. Check that out after the jump.

Today we give you a first look at the adidas Originals Spring/Summer 2009 collection. The brand with the three stripes has developed a nice set of outfits for next season, mixing all time classics with the new season trends.

February 1st, 2009 marks the launch of an outstanding collaboration between adidas Originals and three of the world’s most unique and creative streetwear and fashion designers – Originals by Originals. Jeremy Scott, Alyasha (Fiberops) and Kazuki (Fragment Design) have each created a mini collection of groundbreaking adidas Originals apparel and footwear products for men and women that will be exclusively available in selected boutiques, fashion doors and Originals stores globally from spring/summer 2009. Each product features the Originals by Originals logo and the respective designer logos.

We have already showed you most of the Jeremy Scott collection these past weeks, and today we give you some first easer images of the Alyasha and Kazuki collections, that will for sure be equally impressive and most likely much more wearable. Kazuki will be working on lots of technical garments in his collection and Alyasha will add a special twist of Americana to adidas Originals product.

adidas Originals has worked with Lifelounge to bring you a book that showcases some impressive works of artist Fritz Träumer, entitled “All Day I Dream About Sneakers”.

“All Day I Dream About Sneakers is a new collaborative project from adidas Originals and Lifelounge, inspired by the brand’s avid creeds of ‘Impossible Is Nothing’ and ‘Celebrate Originality’. The project showcases the story and kicks created by the world’s original sneaker freak, Herr Fritz Träumer – a mythical and enigmatic sneaker designer who dedicated his lifetime to constructing the most original range of sneakers ever seen.

A true visionary, Herr Fritz Träumer saw vast potential in the sneaker well beyond their athletic function and humble appearance. Absorbed daily in a world of sneaker design, he dreamed beyond the realm of possibility and quietly penned in a series of notebooks and journals, visions of sneakers that were truly out of this world.

In a unique collaboration with Lifelounge, adidas have published a limited edition book, exclusively available at sneaker retailers around Australia and New Zealand, featuring excerpts from Träumer’s private journals and imagery of his unique sneaker creations.

Pictured to the right of this post are images of his dream sneakers, some behind the scene photos of their creation and images from the celebratory exhibition at Melbourne’s Dakota 501 Store.”

We give you a look at the second part of the adidas Originals x Jeremy Scott collection, after having showed you images of the first part a couple of days ago.

The line does not become any less wild and to be honest, we just do not see yet the mens stuff being worn on the streets. Leopard patterns, glitter and more can be found in this part of the range. We appreciate the aggressive approach by Jeremy Scott and the line is definitely a great addition to the otherwise basic adidas stuff that you usually see, but we are not sure if they went a little too far. The collection offers clothing for both men and women and as expected Jeremy Scott uses all-over patterns, shiny materials, bold colors and makes an overall bold statement with the collection. This Thursday, August 7th, marks the release of the Sam Flores adidas Originals sneaker for Upper Playground. This is the final installment of the four-part series and the first hi-top sneaker in the collection. Other artists involved in the project include Herbert Baglione, David Choe, and Aesop Rock.
Fifteen years after first arriving on the West Coast from New Mexico, Sam Flores, an art school evacuee and self-taught illustrator, has established his place in the modern art movement as a master of fine art and product design. His fine artwork carries a voice and vision that is instantly identifiable. Flores’ artistic quality is unpretentious and provocative, and demands consideration without categorization.
When asked about his vision for his adidas hi-top sneaker, Flores commented: “I simply wanted to make a colorful bright shoe that would go well with the warm weather. I made it blue, grey and pink so it can work for both genders. Plus it’s something you can wear to Miami and stay up for three days and still look fresh!”
Sam Flores has collaborated with Upper Playground on numerous projects. He is currently working on producing two new vinyl figures with the company including one for Upper Playground’s 10-year anniversary.
There are only 500 pairs of the Sam Flores sneaker available worldwide. Each pair retails for $150 and sizes range from men’s size 4 to 13.5. This Thursday, July 31st, Upper Playground will release the new Aesop Rock adidas Originals sneaker. The Stan Smith shoe is the third release in the four-part series that also includes designs from fine artists Herbert Baglione, David Choe, and Sam Flores.

Aesop Rock is an American hip-hop artist from New York that is known for his storytelling style of rap. He has collaborated with established entities such as Nike and painter Jeremy Fish on various projects, and he is excited to introduce his first sneaker design with Upper Playground.
There are only 500 pairs available of this sneaker worldwide. Sizes range from men’s size 4 to 13.5. To get your hands on the Aesop Rock adidas Originals sneaker, go here or head to an Upper Playground retail store. The sneaker will go on sale online at 8 am PT on Thursday, July 31st.
