The adidas Skateboarding x FTC pack will be releasing in December. Some images of the Superstar Skate have already shown up in recent months, here you get a look now at the complete pack, which consists of the sneaker, as well as a matching t-shirt and hoodie.

We give you a complete look at the adidas Skateboarding Holiday 2008 collection. The line consists of two Superstar Skates, two Campus Vulcs, a Gazelle Skate and a Roster Mid. Colors are mostly dark with subtle accent colors. Along with the footwear line-up, adidas also presents a crewneck sweater and classic adidas Skateboarding t-shirt.

FTC has been an institution in the skate retail market for a long time now. Ever since opening their first retail outlet in Japan in 2007, the shop is making big steps towards becoming a full brand. Now they got together with adidas Skateboarding to work on a sneaker and apparel.

The shoe was designed by the FTC design team of Jovontae Turner and Graham James, they came up with a unique colorway that everyone can rock. FTC will be showing the shoe in Japan first to coincide with the adidas team riders’ apperance. Tim O’ Connor, Silas Baxter-Neal, Mr Busenitz, Lem Villemin, Benny Fairfax, Dave Bachinsky, Nestor Judkins and Vince Del Valle’s will all make an appearance in the Far Eastern wing of the FTC empire on October 10th. The collab shows off the new version of the Shelltoe silhouette which has plenty of details, including its use of colors and use of paneling, some real heat for the masses. Via Crooked Tongues/FTC.

The FTC x adidas Skateboarding Superstar will release in December. The FTC San Francisco shop will be preparing for their US shoe release in DEC as well. The collab includes the Superstars, a matching hoody and a tee. Hopefully we can show you soon.

Adidas Skateboarding continues their close relationship with skater and artist Mark Gonzales. For Spring 2009 he worked on a variety of product, some more widely available and others intended for limited release. As usual you find Mark’s art on all his footwear.
We present you today the limited releases that he worked on, both footwear and clothing, available at premium skate doors next year.

The collaboration of skater/artist Mark Gonzales and Adidas Skateboarding continues and they released the Doley now. A nice simple all white low top sneaker with some trademark art by Mark Gonzales.

Adidas Skateboarding released some new product as part of their Fall/Winter 2007 collection. Adidas has not been too long in the skateboarding business and if one compares the projects and amount of releases that Nike SB comes out with, Adidas is not putting enough effort into the market to win market shares. On the other hand, just like in the regular sneaker market, one does appreciate the more classic approach by Adidas, releasing more subtle and solid styles.
They just released some new Gazelle Skate styles. The Gazelle comes with extra cushioning and ankle support in an electric blue colorway and a nice black colorway, with golden stripes and a classy pinstripe inner lining. Along with the sneakers they also released some new clothing. Mark Gonzales designed a new jacket – it comes in a nice pinstripe design design with golden lining and Mark Gonzales signature.

Crooked Tongues presents the latest shoes by Adidas Skateboarding for two of their skaters – Dennis Busenitz and Mark Gonzales. Adidas managed to create some really nice sneakers while still keeping them rather simple and just the right accents.
“Repping two team superstars (no smug pun intended), in the shape of speedy Dennis Busenitz and the deeply eccentric Mark Gonzales, Dennis’ signature spin on the Gazelle returns to follow its triumphant red suede debut with another simple variation, this time in black, with a nigh-on translucent gum midsole.

In line with the man behind the makeup, its no surprise that this Gonz Superstar is a little bit more off-the-wall in blue (looking particularly good on the shell), yellow and white with a spot of red contrast stitching, plus a blissful looking shape shifting Shmoo emblazoned on the heel.

Across both shoes, there’s a high score theme, evoking memories of pumping change into Bubble Bobble down the local leisure centre and getting some leaderboard Last Starfighter-esque shine. Until the plug got pulled. From the evocative 4 bit lettering on the upper, to the insole listing and computer generated image of each respective rider beneath the outsole, it’s a fine concept that doesn’t intrude on the appeal of either model. “

Guillotine presents the Adidas Skateboarding Spring/Summer 2008 footwear collection. In the collection you find Superstar Skate, Roster Mid Top, Campus Vulcanized and the Gazelle Skateboarding. While they stay pretty classic and simple on most part of the collection, colors are more bright on the hi top models.
