As part of their new Spring/Summer 2009 collection, adidas Skateboarding presents the Tim O’Connor Mid. The sneaker comes in a nice beige suede/gold leather colorway, white stripes and a few green accents.

Once again Mark Gonzales created a sneaker for adidas Skateboarding. This time the skater/artist worked on the adidas Campus. The sneaker features an interesting design on white leather upper and Mark’s characters also appear. These are now available at colette.

From the adidas Skateboarding Spring 2009 collection comes the Polson ST “Mark Gonzales”. The sneaker comes in a black/white colorway with orange accents and a couple of Gonzales art hits on the upper and on the inner sole.

The adidas Skateboarding Polson ST will be released in January at VA.

One aspect making the adidas Skateboarding collection interesting, is certainly the continued work with Mark Gonzales. We are not sure where the brand would be today, without that association.

The newest sneaker to be designed by the iconic skater and artist is the Ciero, coming as part of the adidas Skateboarding Spring 2009 collection. Via Complex.

Expect the adidas Skateboarding “Mark Gonzales” Ciero to pop up in stores as of January.

BJ Betts, renowned tattooist and typographer, has joined forces with adidas Skateboarding to work on a small capsule collection. The collection consists of two sneakers, the Bucktown ST and the Ciero Mid, as well as three t-shirts. Via Complex.

For Spring 2009, adidas Skateboarding continues to work with Mark Gonzales. You will see both a sneaker and a sneaker covered in the art by Mark Gonzales. The graphics nicely blend in, and even though they are all-over the sneaker, they do not seem too bold.

The adidas Skateboarding x FTC pack will be releasing in December. Some images of the Superstar Skate have already shown up in recent months, here you get a look now at the complete pack, which consists of the sneaker, as well as a matching t-shirt and hoodie.

We give you a complete look at the adidas Skateboarding Holiday 2008 collection. The line consists of two Superstar Skates, two Campus Vulcs, a Gazelle Skate and a Roster Mid. Colors are mostly dark with subtle accent colors. Along with the footwear line-up, adidas also presents a crewneck sweater and classic adidas Skateboarding t-shirt.

FTC has been an institution in the skate retail market for a long time now. Ever since opening their first retail outlet in Japan in 2007, the shop is making big steps towards becoming a full brand. Now they got together with adidas Skateboarding to work on a sneaker and apparel.

The shoe was designed by the FTC design team of Jovontae Turner and Graham James, they came up with a unique colorway that everyone can rock. FTC will be showing the shoe in Japan first to coincide with the adidas team riders’ apperance. Tim O’ Connor, Silas Baxter-Neal, Mr Busenitz, Lem Villemin, Benny Fairfax, Dave Bachinsky, Nestor Judkins and Vince Del Valle’s will all make an appearance in the Far Eastern wing of the FTC empire on October 10th. The collab shows off the new version of the Shelltoe silhouette which has plenty of details, including its use of colors and use of paneling, some real heat for the masses. Via Crooked Tongues/FTC.

The FTC x adidas Skateboarding Superstar will release in December. The FTC San Francisco shop will be preparing for their US shoe release in DEC as well. The collab includes the Superstars, a matching hoody and a tee. Hopefully we can show you soon.

Adidas Skateboarding continues their close relationship with skater and artist Mark Gonzales. For Spring 2009 he worked on a variety of product, some more widely available and others intended for limited release. As usual you find Mark’s art on all his footwear.
