Nike Sportswear has made an awesome announcement in regards to their NIKEiD program. The Air Force 1 will soon be presented with the Elephant print option. This is a very promising development. It is set to become available in February, so be on the lookout!

Exciting news comes from Nike iD as they are set to bring back the Air Force 1. The sneaker will be available for customization on 1st November 2011. Options, price, and numbers are currently unknown. If you wish to get creative on a never-before-seen Air Force 1, get ready for this limited run!

As part of the NYC Summer collection, Nike Sportswear has released the exclusive Team NYC  Nike Air Force 1, which comes equipped with special Team Nike Starks laces and “WE ARE NY” lasered on the heel cup.

There are only 72 pairs in existence. 24 will be available at the Nike NWS Ice Cream Truck and the remaining 48 will be at Nike Basketball’s BLVD ICE in Harlem.

Nike honors this year’s Black History Month with four sneakers celebrating three important basketball players: Julius Irving (Dr. J), Michael Jordan, and Kobe Bryant. The black Stetson leather uppers are nod to the past, when shoes on the court were almost always black, while the hints of gold are reminders of the golden moment we all are striving to achieve. Further details include a clear tinted outsole and a woodblock cut print around the upper by artist Hele Woodruff. Look for a release through select Nike retailers shortly.

Following last night’s preview, we can now give you a detailed look at the full Jay-Z x Nike Air Force 1 “All Black Everything” Collection. Comprised of five county-inspired sneakers (2 produced of each) the collection pays homage to the USA, France, China, Puerto Rico and Brazil. Each sneaker features a distinct combination of all-black panels over a translucent outsole filled with the respective country’s colors. Now up for auction on eBay.

As part of the inaugural World Basketball Festival – brought together by Converse, the Jordan Brand and Nike Basketball – recording artist JAY-Z will take the stage at New York’s Radio City Music Hall on Thursday August 12, 2010, following an on-court showcase featuring finalists for the 2010 USA Basketball World Championship Team.

In addition to his performance, JAY-Z has joined forces with Nike to create an iconic collection of Air Force Ones – the All Black Everything collection inspired by the World Basketball Festival. Nike has donated the shoes to the Shawn Carter Scholarship Foundation who in turn have linked up with eBay on a charity auction that begins on August 12th at www.ebay.com/jayznikewbf. Only two pairs of each of the five designs will be created, one for the winning bidder and one for the man behind the design, JAY-Z.

The entire Radio City Music Hall basketball and musical performance will stream live on http://www.facebook.com/wbf beginning at 6:30 p.m. EDT until its conclusion.

After previewing each sneaker in the Nike Air Force 1 “Borough Pack” earlier this week, we can now give you a detailed look at the full series. All five “Boroughs” will be dropping at Nike Sportswear 21 Mercer this Saturday, July 31, 2010.

Nike Sportswear created a shoe for the famous Hamptons vacation destination on the US East Coast.

New York, DC, and Philly, all have an Air Force 1 created through their inspiration. Earlier this summer Long Island became a new member of this esteemed list with the release of the first ever Air Force 1 created for Jones Beach. To continue to build on the excitement of the summer season, Nike Sportswear brings you yet another release for Long Island, this time for the Hamptons. Fashioned in all white calfskin with perforated detailing, the Air Force 1 x Hamptons was inspired by the most classic color of the season and the events created in its honor. With the signature laurel leaf H crest embroidered on the tongue tab, the foot bed of the left and right shoe reads, Good Ground, signifying the original name given to the area when once populated by native communities. The Air Force 1 x Hamptons is then finished off with a transparent gel sole that reveals a graphic of the silhouette of Long Island. By taking a Nike Sportswear icon and twisting it through design, the Air Force 1 x Hamptons becomes more than a mark of style, but an emblem of the community.

The shoe will be available this weekend, exclusively at Blue&Cream in the Hamptons.
