Next week Berlin will be getting very busy. Bread & Butter is back in town and around the fashion tradeshow of course a lot more is going on. Nike Sportswear will be hosting the IAM1 Journey exhibition, which celebrations the evolution of the Air Max 1. The exhibition is opening on Monday at the Nike Spiritroom in Berlin and will run the entire week, while you will see some of the most interesting Air Max 1 releases at Overkill and Wood Wood Berlin. The two stores will be getting a worldwide exclusive pre-release next week, but more on that soon.

Safari seems to be the most featured pattern in the new Air Max line-up for Fall 2009. Here we get a look at the Nike Air Max 1 Safari Pack, which consists of overall four colorways – purple, red, white and black. All of them feature a mix of suede, mesh and tonal safari pattern on the upper with contrasting linings. The entire line-up is now available at Proper.

Today we can finally give you the actual release date of the re-release of the Nike Air Max 1 OG colorways. The iconic running shoe will return in the form of a Quickstrike release in its original outfit – both the white/grey/red and the white/grey/blue colorways will be coming out 1rst of July at Overkill Berlin.

Nike worked with Chinese baseball player Chien-Ming Wang on an Air Max 1 Premium. The baseball sport is clearly hinted at on the overall very clean sneaker design, mostly with the stitching. The upper, including the Swoosh, comes in premium white leather, the stitching and othe details in beige/gold. Other nice details can be found on the tongue tag and the inside of the tongue.

Next to the Air Max 90 Current Huarache, the Nike Air Max 1 ND Safari Pack is for sure another highlight in the Nike Sportswear Fall 2009 Collection. The AM1 comes in white/grey/purple and in white/grey/yellow, both featuring the infamous safari pattern across a good part of the sneaker, while overall keeping a classic line.

Today we can give you a first detailed look at one of the most anticipated releases from the Nike Fall 2009 Collection. The Air Max 1 was given the safari treatment. It comes in a black/red/orange colorway with the heel and panels in the front covered in safari print. The sneaker will be released in limited numbers in July.

The first Air Max 1 is still among the most beloved sneakers among enthusiasts and it will once again release. Overkill lets us know that the Nike Air Max 1 OG returns in June as a quickstrike release. Those of you that still do not have it, get ready!

Lots of new Nike sneakers have released as part of their Summer 2009 Collection. Available now are new colorways of the Big Nike Hi, several Big Nike Low’s, several Blazer Hi’s, new Air Max’s, the Jordan 1 Hi in canvas and suede make-ups, Jordan 1 Hi and Lo with green polka dots, a new Air Structure Triax and the Air Tech Challenge Hybrid in the black colorway. You will have a hard time choosing your favorites. All these new styles are now available from Proper.

For later this year, Nike worked with Dutch artist Parra on a collaborative Air Max 1. The sneaker comes with an all black upper with interesting use of different premium materials. The mid-sole is speckled in the artist’s trademark colors and the in-soles carry his art. Accents on the sneakers upper are set in turquoise. Even the stitching comes in the artists colors, which is a very nice detail, on the otherwise very subtle looking shoe. Via mashKULTURE.

The Lunar Racer and Lunar Everyday from the Livestrong “Stages” Collection have just been released and now the Air Max 1 from the collection is slowly getting into stores. The AM1 features a black premium leather upper and mesh with yellow accents. The mid-sole is spotted an the Livestrong logo tag appears on the tongue.
