UK artist Ben Drury once again worked with Nike on a new sneaker. This time they collaborated on the Nike Air Max 90 Current Premium. The running shoe features an upper made of premium leather, mesh, perforated leather and nylon. Furthermore the lacing is inspired by hiking boots, an element that we have seen on lots of footwear this season already. A graphic element has been placed on the heel of the sneaker and the tongue tag reads “Trust Me” on the right shoe and “London” on the left shoe.

The Nike Air Max 90 Current Premium by Ben Drury is now available at 21 Mercer.

As part of Nike’s Fall 2009 collection comes the Air Max 90 Current Huarache. The sneaker comes in black and in red, both tonal on the upper. The entire upper is made of a neoprene, similar to the Huarache. Definitely a highlight from the upcoming collection. You can pre-order the sneaker now from Wellgosh.

We get a first look at an upcoming colorway of the Nike Air Max 90 Current. The sneaker features a white/black upper with blue and orange accents. Expect the sneaker to come out in the next couple of months. Image via VMAN.

Two great new sneakers from the Nike Sportswear collection have released. The Nike Air Max 90 Tier Zero we already showed you, but we thought we’d give you a better look at it. It comes in a black leather/mesh upper with blue accents and an interesting inner sole design. Even more we like the new Air Max 1 Quickstrike, which comes with a blue/white stripe upper and white leather accents. Both sneakers are now available from Provider.

Nike presents yet another interesting collaboration with Uno Caol under the 10AC label. This time they worked on the new Air Max 90 Current. It comes in a white/blue/black colorway, features a 10AC tag on the tongue and a Fuji mountain tag on the inside of the tongue.

On Saturday, October 18th 2008, Nike Sportswear will release two Air Max sneakers created in partnership with Brooklyn-based artist KAWS. The iconic Air Max 90 and the Air Max 90 Current receive a technical update by KAWS and Nike Sportswear Design Director Jesse Leyva.

Featuring innovative 4-way stretch textiles, the two shoes take inspiration from ACG, Nike’s outdoor product line, creating “something with a trail running attitude, on an iconic footwear style” says Leyva. KAWS added, “I wanted to create a simple shoe that I could wear, with subtle design elements someone could enjoy on a more personal level.”

The OriginalFake Air Max 90 and OriginalFake Air Max 90 Current created in partnership between KAWS and NIKE will be exclusively available on October 18th, 2008 at the following retailers:

After much speculation and half decent images, we can finally show you today the entire Nike Air Max 90 Current Artist Series pack, consisting of three Air Max 90 Current, designed by Ben Drury, Kevin Lyons and Hito Yokoyama.
The pack will be released at Overkill this coming Friday, 8th of August.
Many images of all three sneakers, giving you a detailed look at the graphic of the artist that have been placed on the tongue, heel and lining, you can find after the jump.

Since a week or so, images of a soon to be releasing Nike Air Max 90 Artist Series have been circulating. Now we got the scoop on the entire initiative and will clear things up. 
Overall there will be three artist editions of the Air Max 90 Current. The first one by Kevin Lyons we showed you here. The second one designed by Ben Drury you can see here above. There will be a third grey model, designed by Japanese artist Yokoyama. Matching the sneakers there will be 3 windrunners and also 3 t-shirts.
All we need now, is decent images of the whole thing, so hopefully that will follow soon!

So far we have seen the new Nike Air Max 90 Current in the original AM90 colorway as well as in a black/blue colorway. Here we show you now the black/green colorway. It comes in all black, including the swoosh and the mid-sole and only the tags on the tongue and heel as well as the outer sole come in green. Pic via Wellgosh.
