After grabbin’ the mic and offending everyone last Sunday night, Kanye West has had a hell of a week in the aftermath of the MTV Video Music Awards. And yet, Nike is auctioning off two one-of-a-kind pairs of his signature Air Yeezy, with all of the proceeds benefiting the Doernbecher Children’s Hospital in Portland, Oregon.

One pair features a black leather upper and Jordan VI bottom, the first and only time the shoe will be made available with a Jumpman logo, and the other pair is THE Air Yeezy that Kanye worn on The 50th Annual Grammy Awards. The exact same one. Especially the packaging is impressive on both pairs.

Both auctions end tonight at 7:30 PM PST. If you want to participate, make sure to get some cash ready. One of the auctions is at 7400 USD now, the other one at 16300 USD:

The next and also last (at least for now) Nike Air Yeezy will be released beginning of June and therefore the sneaker is starting to arrive at retailers for the launch. Today we can give you a very detailed look of the net/net colorway of the sneaker developed by Kanye West and Nike.

It is one of our favorite in the pack and nicely mixes beige leather with grey suede on the toe box. We also like the unstructured strap in light beige. The lining and branding comes in light pink.

We get an early look at the Roc Star Fall/Winter 2009 styles. The theme of the collection evolves around motorcycles and psychic and of course Roc Star applied lots of colors, graphics and crazy styles to the theme. They also included the black/pink Nike Air Yeezy in their photoshoot.

So far we knew three colorways of the Nike Air Yeezy would release. The first one came out last weekend, the next one in May and the last one in June. Now another colorway has turned up at an official Nike event in Taipei – black/grey/fire red. Taking lots of inspiration from Jordan, this colorway will for sure interest many of you. The upper is rather subtle, with the fire red setting the right accents on the sole. We also like the clean patent strap and actually prefer it over the structured ones that are on the current Air Yeezy’s. We are not sure if this colorway will actually release, but we will definitely keep you posted. Via Sneakernews.

The time has come, the Nike Air Yeezy will finally be released early next month, at least the first colorway. For months images have turned up from Kanye West performances and now you can soon get ready to get your pair. Complex has an exclusive look at the Nike Air Yeezy, not only giving us some great images of the actual production sneakers, but lots of images of prototypes, scatches and interviews with Kanye West and Mark Smith about the sneaker. With the Nike Air Yeezy popping up in select peoples mailboxes, you can get ready for the release of one of the most anticipated sneakers this year. The time has come. After tons of appearances on Kanye West’s feet, we can finally show you some good images of the Nike Air Yeezy.
"The Air Yeezy is inspired by Kanye’s love for high top designer shoes, drafting from the collar molding seen in the Air Jordan V and featuring a thin midfoot strap hardly meant for support. While originally conceptualized atop a Dunk midsole, the final version of the Yeezy features the familiar shared tooling from the Jordan III and Air Revolution, which most recently was also featured on Jordan Brand’s Spiz’ike and a lesser known model that deservedly flew under the radar, the Flight 48. It’s also the bulkiness of the shoe’s tongue that stands out most, with West always opting to pop the tongue and leave the waxed laces loosely tied. An ode to his tour, the model’s outsole also actually glows in the dark, as similar to a common glow stick, if the shoe is held near light, the familiar green glowing hue will radiate afterwards out from under the shoe. This black/glow colorway features a ridiculously high quality full grain leather along the heel quarter, with rich suede making up the toe and midfoot overlays and patent leather highlighting the dominant midfoot strap." Recently Tinker Hatfield was spotted in China wearing the soon to be released AirYeezy, Kanye West’s signature shoe. This Air Yeezy comes in white/grey with a baby blue strap with lots of details. Don’t expect this version to ever make it into stores, as it has been especially made by Mark Smith for Tinker Hatfield.
Tinker Hatfield wore them in China on June 21rst, where he was invited as a speaker in front of a creative community of 200 people for the "Innov8" salon. The event took place at the Nike 706 space, where Nike shows for the first time in 30 years their best 100 innovations.

Now that we have seen some close-up images of the upcoming Nike Air Yeezy, a signature sneaker designed by Kanye West, new colorways keep popping up. Here we show you a nice close-up image of the black/black colorway. Besides the contrasting outer sole, the entire sneaker comes in a mix of black leathers. So far, the nicest colorway we came across.

Just yesterday we gave you the first full look at the upcoming Nike Air Yeezy, a collaboration with artist Kanye West. Today we came across another picture that reveals the glow-in-the-dark feature of the shoe. Both the Swoosh and the sole of the sneaker have it.
Considering that Kanye West is right now in the middle of his Glow-In-The-Dark Tour, this of course makes sense.

On several recent occasions Kanye West has been wearing some mysterious new Nike sneakers and the internet sneaker world has been trying to get hold of some decent images ever since. Today we got our hands for the first time on an image that shows a close-up of the actual shoe.
The high top sneaker comes with lots of nice materials, including premium leather, perforated leather, suede and a patent leather strap. Also it comes in a strong set of colors.
Hopefully we can soon give you some more information on the release of the shoe, so stay tuned!
