Japanese designer Alexander Lee Chang is not new to collaborating with Vans. After having worked already on the Sk8 Hi and the Era in previous collaborations, he now presents his design on the Chukka. The patent leather upper features the classic checker black/white patter and some smaller design accents on the tongue and mid-sole.

Designer Alexander Lee Chang, who we just covered via his Vans collab, has released an interesting “baseball” cap for the season. Crafted from raffia (palm tree fiber,) the cap will probably look pretty goofy on most, but if you can pull it off, kudos to you my friend. Available here in three color options, complete with a check pattern hat bag.

Once again Vans has collaborated with Japanese designer Alexander Lee Chang. This time the designer worked on the Era. He mixed black patent leather with the classic Vans checker pattern on the upper. Also some graphics were added to the mid-sole of the sneaker. The designers signature also appears on the tongue tag. It will be released on April 12th at Zicue.

Tokyo based designer Alexander Lee Chang has worked with Vans Japan on a Sk8 Hi. Staying in line with the classic looks of the brand, the designer applied patent leather on the entire upper and gave the upper a split look – solid color on one side and checkered on the other half. The sneaker is part of the designers Fall/Winter 2009 Collection. The sneaker is releasing soon at Zicue.
