Alexander McQueen’s McQ Spring/Summer 2012 line has been unveiled via this lookbook, so here is a preview of what to expect in the coming months. A really solid lineup of pieces is seen amongst the goods as well as just an all around diverse range enabling you to really mix it up from greaser to prep. The collection also hearkens back to a more youthful 50’s styling with its patterns and cuts utilized throughout.

By now most of you should know that Alexander McQueen likes their skulls. For Spring/Summer 2012 they present a nice new shirt, featuring a large skull design all over the front, entirely made out of polka dots, thus matching with the rest of the shirt. We really like the subtle, yet eye-catching design. The shirt is now in stock over at Oki-Ni.

Directed by Babette Pauthier, the film features a series of the new collection scarves in dynamic motion, each of which features a variation of the iconic McQueen skull theme. Many of the designs are inspired by details from Sarah Burton’s Autumn/Winter 2011 collection for Alexander McQueen and feature key collection motifs such as broken porcelain, armour, feathers and tweed. Happy Halloween everybody!

Alexander McQueen has made the skull a bit of a trademark for their line. As part of their new Fall/Winter 2011 Collection they have now released a range of leather accessories, all featuring gold skull add-ons. The range includes a bracelet, a wallet and a keychian, all available now from Ssense.

From the on-going collaboration between Puma and Alexander McQueen comes this pack of “Eagle Print” high top sneakers. Bold and colorful eagle wing prints have been placed on black and white nylon/leather uppers of the sneaker. The transparent logo stripe is an interesting design element, not distracting from the eye catching design. These are for sure not everybody’s favorites, but might set a nice accent for the coming summer.

From the new Alexander McQueen for Puma Spring/Summer 2011 Collection we present the Twisted Leather High Top sneaker. The sneaker comes with an interesting upper construction and while it comes in an all light grey colorway, the yellow set behind the twisted parts, makes for a nice accent. The sneaker is now available from Browns.

McQ Alexander McQueen presents a double breasted twill motorcycle jacket in black with grey sleeves. The jacket features epaulet shoulders, exposed zips and various distressed details. The Italian made jacket is now in stock at SSENSE.
