Alife presents their new Spring 2011 Sportswear Collection. Next to the usual t-shirts and sweaters, the New York brand will also be offering some nice shirts, as well as baseball jackets this season. As usual the branding is kept core and very clean.

When it comes to Alife footwear in recent years, the general direction was for prices to go down, but the same was unfortunately true for their quality. Last season the brand started introducing some new premium styles, including the popular hiking boot. Next to high quality leathers, the range also comes with Vibram outer soles. Of course the use of these materials and features results in higher prices, but we prefer that over low quality footwear.

Today we preview the Fall/Winter 2011 Premium Range, offering shoes, mid top boots, as well as hiking boots in a series of colorways. Check them out after the jump.

Two solid new sneakers have releases from the Alife Spring 2011 Collection. The Public Estate Mid Woodstock comes in two suede colorways, featuring leather laces and a crepe outer sole, with added wingtip accents placed on the upper. The Northeastern Cadet is a low top sneaker, featuring leather and premium nubuck on the upper. We really like the tonal structure of the sneaker, and that they played with materials, rather than color to set accents. Both sneakers are now available from Kasina.

Alife got together with Japanese retailer And A to work on a pack of sneakers. The Wood Stock mid top sneaker comes with Wingtip details on the suede uppers, royal blue accents on the heel and lining, as well as leather laces and most importantly crepe outer soles. The two sneakers will be released at And A in April 2011.

Directed by Alife, this video was shot and produced by longtime collaborator Cliff “The Crystal Pharaoh” Cristofaro, the man behind most of Alife’s video releases, and includes minimal soundtrack tidbits kindly “loaned” by British musician and producer Jamie XX.

Today at Bread & Butter we took a first look at the upcoming Alife Fall/Winter 2011 Footwear Collection. Next to new colorways of the very successful Alife Hiking Boot, the brand continues to built out that section of the line, adding two more casual premium leather footwear styles in mid and low silhouettes. Furthermore  they present an interesting new slip-on style with tassel details and even in a shearling lined version.

ALIFE presents a flagship exclusive G-SHOCK G5500AL-1 watch with a black on black reverse LCD display and special packaging. Limited to 200 pieces, the watch will be available for pre-order this Saturday, December 18, 2010 exclusively at Alife flaghip shops and online on The UpSet. As part of this years Holiday drop, Alife presents a flocked Be@rbrick box set by Medicom Toy. The toys come packaged as a set in an entirely flocked box, and are identical, except for the size: the 100% Bearbrick is about 2.7 inches tall, while the 400% measures 11 inches. Available this Saturday, December 18th exclusively at Alife flaghip shops and online on The UpSet. The Alife x Crailtap x Girl board is out on the same day.

The ALIFE CRAILTAP COMPLETE by GIRL Skateboards will be available this Saturday, December 18th, exclusively at Alife flaghip shops and online on The UpSet.

A true re-interpretation of the classic banana cruiser updated with modern hardgoods, top and bottom Alife graphic treatments, and clear grip tape to keep it all visible.
Its mellow concave coupled with a 14.5” wheelbase, Alife x Girl custom wheels, and re-sized Royal trucks (only available for this release), are a throwback to an era gone.

Board size is 8 x 28 7/16 inches, while the wheels are 52mm – 98 durometer.

Alife has been teasing some of their upcoming releases this past week. Included in the teasers is a new grey flock Bearbrick with Alife logo on the chest, a clean set of skate wheels and their upcoming G-Shock watch. The wheels come in an edition of 150 and the watch in an edition of 200.
