With Dallas heavy on the minds of NBA fans around the globe, adidas’ classic Torsion-infused basketball mid top – the Artillery – is given an All-Star game makeover. “East and West get red and blue respectively as highlight colours, while a brown leather panel [...] has a touch of cowboy boot in line with the game’s locale. On July 4th, Nike will be releasing a special mock up of the AF1 high in celebration of the MLB all-star game. Back in New York for the first time in 30 years, the pinstripes on the shoe are a nod to the host Yankees. Gum sole, can’t complain there. Special lace locks are also included, spelling out NYC in cursive. A nice pair for the mid-summer classic. (Via Nice Kicks).
