adidas Torsion All Star Artillery Mid
With Dallas heavy on the minds of NBA fans around the globe, adidas’ classic Torsion-infused basketball mid top – the Artillery – is given an All-Star game makeover. “East and West get red and blue respectively as highlight colours, while a brown leather panel [...] has a touch of cowboy boot in line with the game’s locale. NBA logos, stars and a coastal twist on those tongue details.” Look for these at select adidas Consortium accounts (especially those in the Dallas area) next weekend. Limited to 250 individually numbered pairs per colorway.

On July 4th, Nike will be releasing a special mock up of the AF1 high in celebration of the MLB all-star game. Back in New York for the first time in 30 years, the pinstripes on the shoe are a nod to the host Yankees. Gum sole, can’t complain there. Special lace locks are also included, spelling out NYC in cursive. A nice pair for the mid-summer classic. (Via Nice Kicks).
