Today we can preview the upcoming releases of the Converse Japan Collection. Once again they introduce some interesting alternations of Converse classics, also playing with obvious winter themes this month. The Chuck Taylor comes with quilted patterns, nordig sweater patterns, wool tartan patterns and more. The Jack Purcell comes in a mid version and in a low version in several uni-color versions. The One Star also comes out next month, featuring two wool plaid patterns on the upper and nice leather details and linings.

Once again Converse Japan presents a series of interesting new releases for September 2009. The All Star Hi comes in a Messenger Bag inspired version, as well as with wool felt uppers and with a down jacket inspired upper. The Jack Purcell Mid comes with waxed leather uppers. The new fishing boot by Converse is also an interesting alteration of their classics and comes in two colorways next month.

We present you the upcoming releases of Converse Japan. Once again the brand did minimal changes to their classic silhouettes, resulting in some great footwear and once again we regret that these styles will not make it over to us.

Most interesting in this new drop are the All Star Upside-Mono Hi and Lo, featuring Converse branding and toe cap matching the upper color. The result is a very clean looking sneaker in both cases. They come in several fresh colorways. The Jack Purcell also comes in some great colorways, featuring camouflage patterns and exotic leather uppers.

A very simple yet perfect low cut Converse All Star has come out this week. The uppers come in clean white, kahki and navy colors, with the heel and the lining covered in summer plaid patterns. A perfect sneaker to go with pretty much anything. They are now available at Flauge.

It is definitely always interesting to see with what the Japanese market comes up. Of course we often feature items that are hard to get hold of outside of Japan, but that should not be the case with Converse and when would something like this ever make it over? It might be too experimental for many, but at least they are trying.

The All Star once again shows how flexible the original design is. Converse Japan turned it into a an actually pretty decent looking winter boot, similar in design to many high end leather boots on the market. These are now available at Flauge.

Some interesting new releases have come out from the Converse 100th anniversary collection. The drop consists of an All Star Hi and All Star Lo, both coming in CMYK colors and with an inner socket, making the classic more comfortable. Also interesting is the new All Star Hi Croc. The entire upper comes in dark red croc skin and the laces are made out of woven leather, to add some more premium appeal.

An interesting new Converse All Star has released – it comes with a black leather upper and features several zippers going across the sneakers heel. The Converse All Star “Zippers” is now available at Concepts.

Out of the Converse Holiday 2008 collection come two new interesting models. The All Star comes in a “Tokyo Police Club” version and in a patent leather hi version. Both are now available at Concepts.

An interesting version of the All Star Ox has just been released – a clear, transparent version. It comes with a transparent upper, white sole and white leather details. It’s maybe wrong timing for these, but we at least wanted to let you know what they are out. Size has them in stock.

An interesting and actually functional Converse All Star has been released. The Converse All Star FM OX comes in black and light silver, featuring lots of reflective panels and pieces on the sneaker, as well as neon colored striped on the heel, making sure you are seen when riding your bike.
