After the video presentation the other day, we can finally give you a detailed look at the Converse x Aloha Rag 20th Anniversary Jack Purcell Zip. The high top sneaker comes with an interesting canvas upper, front zipper and tricolor laces setting a nice accent on the otherwise clean upper. Furthermore the sneaker features a pyramid stud on the heel and also comes with different color laces. Limited to only 140 pairs, the sneaker is now available here.

Aloha Rag celebrates their 20th Anniversary with a limited edition Converse Jack Purcell Zipper Hi sneaker. The shoe is done a nice lightweight fabric with a stud detail on the heel, a gold zipper and tri-color red, white and blue laces. Check out their official preview video below:

Converse gets together with retailer Aloha Rag for Spring 2011 on their all new Jack Purcell Zipper Hi.

“When we saw the sample of the JP Zipper Hi (under development at the time) we knew we had found our base. It’s a uniquely updated silhouette designed for the 75th anniversary of the Jack Purcell tennis shoe. A classic reinvented. This special version is inspired by New York, the big city of dreams. The ARNY JP Zip features an off white sole, blacked out Jack Purcell “smile” at the toe, crinkle patent leather mid, patterned buffalo leather outer, soft leather lined interior, embroidered skull/hearts logo, and brassed zipper, eyelets and heel spike. All of these elements create a versatile shoe, one that can be worn crispy or tattered, but will always be ready for what ever the city throws at it.”

With the official release sate set for February 26th 2011, Aloha Rag is taking pre-orders on the sneaker until December 31st, with a 15% on all pre-orders.

We just came across a new series of Comme des Garcons wallets. They keep the same form and functions as all the others, but these are the Hologram Wallets. They come with animal print holographic images. Definitely pretty cool! They are now available at Aloha Rag.
