One of the highlights from Black Scale’s recent showing at the Agenda Trade Show are these boots done in collaboration with Amongst Friends for Fall 2012. These are probably one of the more handsome duck boots we’ve seen. Two will be available with each having a different finish: 1 being more polished making for a more striking boot, with the other having a duller finish, but its still a sharp pair of boots despite that.

For Holiday 2011 we teamed up with New York label Amongst Friends on a special colorway of their high rise Field Boot. Keeping things classic without being boring, we chose a classic wheat suede for the upper while mixing in navy nylon for the heel collar, side vent and tongue.

From the new Amongst Friends Fall 2011 Collection we present the First Spring Varsity Jacket. Made of premium melton wool on the upper, these come with fold down cuff collar and roll up cuffs. The jacket comes in grey tweed and blue plaid colorways and will be available soon.

Consisting of clean-cut apparel, footwear and accessories, Amongst Friends creates a “cosmopolitan country club” aesthetic for Summer 2011. From oxford shorts to pique polos, the line is kept simple, with custom paisley accents throughout the collection. Available now through Amongst Friends.

First seen for Fall 2010, the Amongst Friends Field Boot has been one of the more welcome footwear developments from the “streetwear” side of things. For Spring 2011, the brand also released a Work Boot and a Duck Sneaker, and now, two new Field Boot colors – midnight blue and chocolate brown. Once again the boots feature tumbled leather with nylon accents and light branding.

Today we present you the second new footwear style that New York brand Amongst Friends will be introducing with their Spring 2011 Collection, next to the Work Boots that we showcased last week.

Sneakers inspired by boots, hiking boots or duck boots is not an entirely new concept. With the rise of workwear and heritage inspired product, we have seen this being a strong trend in the sneaker market. The “Duckies” by Amongst Friends fall 100% into that category, mixing the silhouette and outer sole of a sneaker with the design elements of the duck boot. We still believe that this is one of the best ones in the category, as we appreciate the good choice of colors, materials, the minimal branding and the overall silhouette. They will come in two colorways and will be released in the coming months.

After having presented the new work boot earlier, we now take a closer look at the Spring 2011 Collection by New York brand Amongst Friends. Once again they present a solid and tight line-up of outerwear, fleece, t-shirts, as well as accessories, consisting of a beautiful backpack and some belts.

Spring 2011 Amongst Friends grows their footwear offering and introduces next to their Field Boots the new Work Boot. The boot comes in a beige suede and brown leather colorway, both featuring a white outer sole and embossed Amongst Friends logo on the heel. Look out for these at retailers soon.
