The YOD character by Amos Toys will release in a new wooden version. We have seen wooden toys from Kaws over the last couple of years and once again we have to say that we really like the combination of a playful modern character toy with the more traditional looks of wood. Handmade, the toy will release July 2nd in the Amos Toy online store, limited to only 30 pieces.

After appearing in the new “The Wisdom by Caleb” comic strip by James Jarvis, the figure is now brought to live with a vinyl figure. Caleb will come in two colorways, white t-shirt and black t-shirt, and should be available, sometime in November, from most good Amos retailers and the Amos online stores.

Once again Silas presents several limited edition products to celebrate their 10th anniversary this Autumn/Winter 2008 season. Just this week we have already seen the Silas x Vans Sk8 Hi Retro, today we present you the Silas x Amos Toys Martin X figures.
The figures come in two colorways, with the orange one being exclusive to Silas stores. Both feature Silas written on the t-shirt of the figure and the X on the hand.

The King Ken figure by James Jarvis and Amos Toys was released today at the SDCC show in a special gold version. It is being exclusively sold at the Strangeco booth at SDCC. 

Complete with 180 images of toys covering a great cast of characters, Wonder Women of America introduces a number of female cosplayers. Motivational quotes explaining the benefits and joys of cosplaying accompany many of the photographs. For those that don’t know, cosplay is costume play. A couple of weeks ago we gave you a first look at the James Jarvis x Bounty X Hunter King Kun figure in a black colorway. Today we show you both colorways – black and grey. King Ken by Amos Toys and Skull Kun by Bounty X Hunter have been fused in this figure.
Strengeco’s SDCC booth will be the only carrier of both figures in the US. One more reason to make it to SDCC.

Previously, we gave a preview of the Amos tees. They are manufactured by Japan’s One Gram, assuring some wicked quality. As of tomorrow (Saturday) they are online from Amos Toys directly. 
Above is the Black Metal Ken, the dark side of Klassic Ken, which twists a king kong x mickey mouse vibe. Other tees included the YOD revolt, commenting on consumer culture, YOD Repent, The Bird God of Music, and The Doors of Perception. All designs are from the mind of illustrator James Jarvis.

Here we present you a very special collaboration between Bounty X Hunter and Amos Toys. The two toy designers got together to create a fusion of their most recognized and celebrated figures. The outcome is King Kun. It comes in the usual body of the classic Bounty X Hunter figure and with the classic Amos Toy head, designed by James Jarvis.
Due to be released soon for the 10th anniversary of Amos Toys.

Amos Toys will be releasing some fun products this coming weekend. Included in the release is a high quality sticker set, produced by One Gram Japan, a MUG and a notebook. All three products feature artwork of the YOD toy, that was released a couple of months ago.

Amos Toys will soon be releasing their first new toy for 2008. Realised from the pages of James Jarvis’ Selected Drawings, The Bird God is coming. It comes in a day and night version. We’ll let you know about the release soon!
