James Jarvis’ Amos Toys will be releasing the second Wood Yod this coming weekend. Done in collaboration with Landscape Products, this figure is crafted out of natural beech and walnut wood giving a beautiful texture and look. These are extremely limited, 50 pieces to be exact, so be sure to react lighting quick come release day. These will be available through the Amos web store.

Japanese label Porter has teamed up with British toymaker Amos once again (see their previous collaboration here) to release a lightweight nylon wallet. The wallet features a repeating “STOP & GO” pattern featuring James Jarvis’ familiar illustrated characters. For the month of May 2011, KK Outlet will be showcasing a series of Amos vinyl toys, art and more.

“For the first time in London Amos will showcase a retrospective collection of their plastic and vinyl classic toys alongside a pop-up store selling a few long sold out Amos collectables rarities and difficult-to-find products. There will also be an opportunity to have photos taken with a couple of exclusive, 5ft Caleb figures specially created for the workshop.

AMOS artist James Jarvis will exhibit recent drawings in KK Outlet’s side gallery. These drawings represent a catalogue of James Jarvis’ interests and obsessions of the past two years. Whilst featuring some familiar faces, they also reflect his concern in taking character design to new and different places. The gallery will offer a rare opportunity to buy original Jarvis artwork.”

The store will sell some great pieces from the Amos back catalogue, as well as introduce completely new toys and product from Amos. The exhibition and pop-up space runs from May 6th until May 31st.

From Curated – “The British illustrator James Jarvis, founder of the brand “Amos”, joins SIGG, a Swiss brand created in 1908 specializing in high-end bottles, for an unexpected collaboration.”

Illustrator James Jarvis’ Caleb character from the daily ‘Wisdom of Caleb‘ strip makes his way to the vinyl realm with this upcoming figure from Jarvis’ own Amos Toys. Rumor has it that seven variations of this 6-inch high toy will be available come November.

The second series of King Ken toys from Amos is coming this Autumn to all good Amos stockists. Five variations, as seen above, will be available.

Amos Toys has collaborated with Porter on a small bag collection. The collection consists of a tote bag and two pouches, with all three pieces featuring signature graphics by James Jarvis. Look out for a release soon. Via honeyee.

Almost Skateboards got together with Amos to produce a series of skateboard decks. The decks each feature one of the characters from the Amos camp, resulting in a colorful mix of very clean skateboards. Look out for a release of the decks in the coming weeks.

Amos Toys kicks of 2010 with a stuffed fabric homage to their very own King Ken. “The King Ken Cushion has been produced under license by our good friends at Säck und Nolde. This 40cm x 35cm original Ken-grey cushion is available in a worldwide edition of 400 pieces of which the Amos online store will only get a small percentage.” Amos Gold members can pre-order from this weekend for an early March shipment.

After a long hiatus, illustrator James Jarvis’ Amos line has released another batch of garments. This is the second series produced under license by Säck und Nolde in Germany and includes Jarvis’ famous YOD characters alongside “Resist” and “Magique” slogans. Amos also presents their very first sweats alongside other graphic tees. The full collection is now available at Amos Toys.
