We have seen restaurants, clubs and hotels by Parisian artist André so far, and of course the occasional product collaboration. But now we will see him launch his very own clothing line, entitled Black Block, the same name that his boutique inside the Palais De Toyko carries.
As part of the first collection you will find polo shirts, leather jackets, denim and belts. All product is produced in France, therefore you can expect a pretty high standard of quality. Among others, of course Colette will be carrying it very soon. Via Glltn.

After recently giving you a first look at the upcoming special products of the Colette x Gap concept store, that will be opening its doors on September 6th in New York City, we show you today the Paris x New York City artist series t-shirts that were made for the occasion.
Colette and Gap have invited artists from both Paris and New York to design t-shirts for the pop-up store. Each t-shirt is designed by one Parisian artist and one New York artist together – a group of Paris-based artists have come up with design concepts that a group of New York artists completed. The line-up includes t-shirts by Artus x Peter Arkle, Miss Tic x Claw Money, Jean-Philippe Delhomme x Ruben, Thomas Lelu x Tobias Wong, Genevieve Gauckler x Eric Elms (here above) and Andre x Neckface (here above).

We give you a first look at some of the exclusive product that was made especially for the Colette x Gap concept store that will be opening its doors in New York in September.
You will see limited edition collaborative product with the likes of Oakley, Uslu Airlines, Moncler and artist Andre, Gap t-shirts with artist prints and much more. The product will be available only at the Colette x Gap pop-up store and at the newly renovated Colette Paris store, that will be opening its doors again this coming Monday, August 25th.

The Jalouse Rocks Paris Festival introduces the best of the European pop scene. A useful and musical way of celebrating the end of Men Fashion Week and a nice way ofwaiting for the Couture shows in Paris.

The festival takes place at three locations: Showcase, Paris-Paris and Le Baron; three nights: June 27, 28 and 29th 2008: around ten artists already confirmed. A british double-decker will connect you to the next location, where the music will be!

French brand Kitsune created some t-shirts for the Cazals. The design was done by Parisian artist Andre. The t-shirts feature a large print on the front and logos of all three participating parties in the back. It is now available in two colorways at Sold Out.

Just in case you have not come cross it yet, Nabaztag is an electronic rabbit, that can be connected to your computer and the internet. People that have a Nabaztag can receive messages send to the rabbit, read them out loud, etc. Also you can configure the rabbit to light up when you get emails, IM’s or anything else.
Just in time for Christmas, they launched a new limited edition version of Nabaztag, designed by Parisian artist André. The rabbit got a classic, simplistic André make-over. The Nabaztag by André is now available online.

Chinese sports goods giant Ni-Ling has invited some of your favorite artists to participate in their “Say No To Limits” campaign. With the Olympic games coming up in Beijing in 2008, the brand has already started now celebrating the occasion.
Participating artist are Kuntzel & Deygas, Kaws, Delta, James Jarvis, Mr. André and Hidekichi Shigemoto. Each artist created a track jacket as well as a t-shirt. The exhibition of the pieces just recently took place in Beijing and for the occasion Ni-Ling had invited many more artists from around the world to also include their artwork on t-shirts. The main artists get the trackjacket and many others get to contribute only t-shirts.
All in all a nice project and the releases are certainly something to look out for. On the “Say No To Limits” website there is also a countdown to the Olympic games.

Once again the Parisian concept store Colette has something special waiting for you, bringing together some of the most talented artists from around the globe – Domestic Curated.
CURATED BY COLETTE is a collection of vinyls by 10 leading artists and graphic designers. André – aka Mr A -, Claude Closky, So-Me, Work in Progress (Self Service) from Paris, +41 from Switzerland, Greg Foley (Visionaire) and Fabien Baron from New York, KAWS from Brooklyn, Jeremy Scott from Beverly Hills and Nagi Noda from Tokyo. Only 500 copies of each set have been made, and all are exclusive to colette in France.
The set is now available at the Colette eshop. Check out the other vinyls after the jump.
