It’s been 25 years now since the passing of Andy Warhol, but he continues to be honored for his artistic contributions during his lifespan. In this case, the Paris Mint, in partnership with the Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts Inc., are honoring the artist with this collection consisting of gold and silver pieces bearing Warhol’s ‘Self Portrait’ on one side, and his ‘Dollar Sign’ from his 1981 painting. The collection is available through the Monnaie de Paris site.

In time for the holiday season, Incase expands their Andy Warhol product range and presents its latest series of iPhone 4 and iPhone 4 S cases. This latest series includes several designs of the iconic artist, including his Self Portrait, Crowd, Cars and Diamond Dust Shoes. The new cases are now available for pre-order in the Incase online store.

We present the second round of collaborative product between Incase and Andy Warhol. The new series includes Warhol’s ‘Do It Yourself Flowers’ design, ‘Elvis’ portrait, his advertisements series and some other hand-drawn designs by the late artist. The line is made up of MacBook sleeves, iPhone 4 cases and iPad cases.

The new pieces are now available from Incase and also at select Apple stores.

Alien Workshop recently presented round 3 of their collaborative work with the Andy Warhol Foundation. The project, which pairs unique examples of Warhol’s artwork with Alien Workshop skate decks will come packaged in cardboard packaging inspired by Warhol’s box sculptures from the 1960’s.

The latest installment features 4 of Warhol’s most recognizable and iconic images and (as we found out at Agenda HB) will be available shortly at select Alien Workshop retailers, .

After a first preview a while ago, we can present today the full Incase for Andy Warhol Collection.

Incase proudly unveils their collaboration with The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts. This distinctive collection features Warhol’s artwork applied to select cases, sleeves and bags for iPhone, iPad and MacBook. They launch this continuing series with Warhol’s late-era Camouflage and the Banana screen print created in 1966, which also appeared on the cover of The Velvet Underground and Nico’s self-titled debut album. Additional signature Warhol graphics are featured on iPhone cases including his striking 1964 Flowers print, Dollar Signs (1982), a wry commentary on art as a consumer item, and a colorful cow portrait taken from his whimsical 1966 Cow Wallpaper.

On Wednesday, April 6, Incase and The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts will host a private event in New York to celebrate the launch of Incase for Andy Warhol. The event will draw from Warhol’s seemingly prescient stance on technology and its effect on popular culture with interactive art installations, as well as showcase the newly released collection. The entire event will be captured on video via iPhone 4 and will be streaming live on goincase.com.

Select Incase for Andy Warhol products are available today at goincase.com with additional products launching soon and available for pre-order. Incase for Andy Warhol will also be available soon through the Apple Store, Apple’s retail stores and select boutiques worldwide.

Incase will be introducing a new Andy Warhol Collection this Spring season. The collection consists of two key motives, the banana and a camouflage pattern, both coming on laptop cases, iPhone cases and iPad cases. This continuous collaboration will use iconic imagery from the artist every season and present new product. This first series comes to retail April 2011.

After having reported about the initiative before, we can give you today a full look at this special collection of champaign bottles by Dom Pérignon, as part of their “A Tribute to Andy Warhol” project.

“Inspired by Warhol’s unconventional representation of icons, and the playful use of codes and colour in his work, Dom Pérignon commissioned the Design Laboratory at Central Saint Martin’s School of Art & Design to reinterpret its timeless bottle. The result is a unique collection of three bottles, each with its distinct label in red, blue or yellow, paying homage to Warhol’s iconic colour games.”

One of the world’s most prestigious champagnes has changed for the first time in its history its label to pay tribute to pop artist Andy Warhol. Inspired by the style and colors of the artist, Dom Perignon has launched a series of limited edition bottles of its champagne. The bottles are only available in 4 outlets through out Spain: the Terrace of the Hotel Urban (Madrid), Pacha Ibiza, CDLC (Barcelona) and Olivia Valere (Marbella). Ron English got together with metal experts from Fully Visual to produce the “Figment” sculpture, available in both Bronze and White Bronze, featuring Andy Warhol’s skeletal head complete with iconic wispy wig atop a turtle-necked casket. Limited to only 15 pieces each, the sculptures are now available here.

Prism Gallery Los Angeles continues with an impressive line-up of shows. End of last week the “Black & White” exhibition of Andy Warhol art opened.

“Prism is pleased to present a selection of late paintings by Andy Warhol. In the mid-1980s, Warhol made a series of silkscreened black and white works with imagery taken from a cross-section of sources. The paintings are stark representations of advertisements, diagrams, maps, and illustrations in newspapers and magazines pulled from his scrapbook of ads from the 1950s. Warhol’s themes of consumer culture, death and religion are dramatically represented in these late works. The ghostly messages seem to fade and dissolve the text into near abstractions. Some 25 years later the immediacy and familiarity of the images still resonate within today’s advertisement and image driven culture.”

Inspired by the original Ferragamo shoes worn by artist Andy Warhol, the Italian luxury brand has created a collection of shoes. The story behind them is great and most importantly true, which for once makes this “paint splatter” decoration worth it.

“Dover Street Market are excited to welcome Ferragamo Men’s shoes to the store, with the limited edition Ferragamo Creations shoe.

The Creations shoe was the only men’s shoe that Salvatore Ferragamo designed in his career, and the style was worn religiously by Andy Warhol.

The Ferragamo family won a pair of Andy Warhol’s Ferragamo shoes at auction after his death, which had paint splattered toes from his studio; this new line of shoes pays homage to Warhol’s originals, with each pair splattered with brushstrokes.”

The shoes are now available from Dover Street Market in London.

Currently the Pop Life exhibition is on at the Galerie der Gegenwart in Hamburg. Most of you should know by know about the Pop Life exhibition going on at the Tate Modern. Pop Life features modern artists that understand the relationship between art and commerce and more importantly, make active use of it during their career. Participating artists include Keith Haring, Andy Warhol, Damien Hirst, Jeff Koons, Takashi Murakami and more.

As part of the exhibition the Tate Modern has also launched the Pop Life store, offering product from all of these artists. The store also has an online home, so should you not make it out there, you can also shop the collection here.
