A.P.C.’s Jean Touitou is seen here with Carhartt creative director Arnaud Faeh giving us a glimpse into the next installment of their collaborative A.P.C. + Carhartt line. In a recent interview with GQ, A.P.C. designer Jean Touitou hints at an upcoming collaboration with Kanye West.

GQ: Are there more collaborations in the pipeline for 2012? Or anybody you would love to try to work with?
Jean Touitou: Organically? Yes, I can tell about it, it’s mentally in the pipeline, but it’s hard to get organized. I happen to be friends with Kanye West, and we wanted to do something related to clothes that’s not high fashion, probably something more sporty, I would say. But it’s just hard to get the guy out of a plane.

Amongst many other interesting tidbits Jean also mentioned they’re opening an APC store at Bergen and Smith in Brooklyn in 2013.

This last week Rihanna celebrated her 24th birthday in London. While being spotted at several fashion shows in the English capital, she was also enjoying some private time in the city. While doing so she was spotted wearing the varsity jacket from the Carhartt + A.P.C. Fall/Winter 2011 Collection.

Once again this proves how great girls can look in mens clothing and especially in oversized varsity jackets.

In an interesting new collaboration, the French brands L.G.R. and A.P.C. have teamed up on a new pair of unisex sunglasses. The frames are all handmade in Italy, using cellulose acetate. Look out for these in stores from May 10th, 2012.

Every season French brand A.P.C. tends to have that one camouflage piece in their collection and usually that is the one that is hardest to get a hold of. Same is true for Spring/Summer 2012. They have just released their new Camo Parka, coming in a classic green camo colorway all over the upper. Made in heavyweight cotton it features four front pockets, two flap pockets at the hip and two slanted chest pockets. Nitty Gritty has it in stock now for 330 Euros.

Today the new A.P.C. Quilts Collection for Spring 2012 went on sale. In the 5th round of the special line, the designs by Jessica Ogden and Jean Touitou cover not only blankets, but also cushions. All of these pieces are handmade and the result is simply beautiful.

For Spring/Summer 2012 they present the khaki camouflage military parka. Made from a heavy-duty woodland camouflage cotton twill outer, the parka features two front handwarmer pockets, two large patch pockets, and tonal button fastening. End has it in stock now.

Today French brand A.P.C. released its Spring 2012 Pre-Collection. A nice bridge in between the Winter and Summer seasons, they offer a solid range of easy to wear goods. Included in the capsule collection are slip-on shoes, mid top boots, a solid bomber jacket, some nice knitwear, shirting, t-shirts, sweatshirts, bags and belts, and of course some nice denim.

With the release of the next collaboration between Carhartt and A.P.C. being just around the corner, we take another look at this second collaboration between the two brands. This time the two brands present two jackets, including a varsity jacket, some shirts, as well as some t-shirts, all coming with the double branding that was introduced already in their first collaborative capsule collection last season. The line is getting to stores December 15th, 2011.
