Here is something that should pique the interest of Hello Kitty fans. Vans will be following up their popular sneaker releases with the beloved kitty with a range of apparel and accessories. Here is a glimpse of what we saw at the recent Agenda Trade Show in Long Beach.

Head Porter Plus provides a glimpse of what’s to come next Spring/Summer 2012 season. Light, classic, and sophisticated pieces make up the collection, along with some a few more bold selections such as the pineapple print button up and shorts. Another interesting item of note are the chinos with the colorful striped print in crotch area. On paper, that might sound odd, but its a nice use of color in a region usually devoid of detailing.

Puma reveals their latest Asian collaboration with Korean fashion brand General Idea, owned by designer Bumsuk Choi.

“Chosen as the first designer to become a part of the PUMA Archive collaboration project in Asia, which invites Asian designers to tell their storied style of PUMA, Bumsuk Choi was asked to design PUMA’s iconic Disc Blaze by drawing inspiration from the fun filled life of young trendsetters in the vibrant, trendy and modern Seoul.

With ‘Rhythmic fashion’ as a constant reference, PUMA & General Idea uses repetitive typographic patterns that relates to Deulgukhwa’s 1st album, Bumsuk’s favorite track, club parties, and so on in a musical way. The bold typographic patterns on the transparent TPU of the Disc Blaze rhythmically picture the strong beats heard in a heated club party while the ‘Disc wheel’ and equalizer graphics on the insole that portrays the DJ mixer.

Introduced together with the Disc Blaze is a special hooded sweat designed with the same rhythmic typographic patterns. Both the Disc Blaze and hooded sweat are introduced in 2 color ways: Black with a neon green accent and white with a red color accent.”

The collection will be released across Asia from September 10th.

After giving you a first look at the apparel and the footwear from the Wood Wood x ellesse Fall 2010 Collection last week, we can show you the complete lookbook of the line today. The Danish brand designed two low top footwear styles, as well as a complete clothing line to complete the collaboration.

The Wood Wood x ellesse Collection will get into select stores, as well as the three Wood Wood stores towards the end of the month.

After giving you an early look at the Nike Sportswear x fragment design All Court Leather Low of next season, we also get a preview of some signature apparel and accessories for Fall/Winter 2010.

Next to further development in the tech shell area with many more Gore-Tex jackets in the pipeline, Nike also presents some great wool/leather jackets and fleece pieces as part of their continuous relationship with Loopwheeler. Also the accessories become more interesting, including more luggage with lots of functionality and even a camping chair, possibly in collaboration with Porter.

We take a detailed look at the upcoming Nike Sportswear NSW Summer 2010 Apparel Collection. Who could have predicted that apparel from Nike would reach such high standards in this short time? We can only say, that we are impressed. The new collection consists of some great Loopwheeler pieces, with the sweat shorts being our favorite. The lightly branded bomber jacket and the cotton flywire jacket are also really nice and perfect for the summer. We want to thank Stefanie Suchy (feelinfriday) for shooting the collection for us.

Many of you might know that Futura is a huge baseball fan. Recently he worked with Nike Sportswear on a New York Yankees collection, including two Air Force 1 Hi’s and two Lo’s, as well as an apparel collection. The people from 12ozProphet sat down with the artist to talk about the project and give a closer look at the collection.

“In case you don’t already know, Futura is a massive baseball fan and has frequently collaborated with Nike over the years, so bringing him on board once again for this latest Be True installment was a natural fit. The result is a capsule collection released by Nike Sportswear in cooperation with the New York Yankees. The collection is inspired by a genuine love for sport and showcases an entirely new remix of Yankees graphics, slogans and iconography released on both apparel and footwear.”

We present you the new adidas Originals Spring 2010 OT Tech Collection. adidas once again offers a smart range of technical apparel as part of their OT Tech range. The collection consists of track jackets, shorts, Gore-Tex jackets and t-shirts.

Of course Nike Sportswear included the hosting country in their collaboration series and involved artist Kronk for the South Africa Team Kit.

Kronk is an emerging designer/illustrator from Cape Town. His work is colorful and whimsical, a collision of rock poster rebelliousness and wry pop culture references. His contributions to the South African team kit are the most intricate of the collection, with an insanely detailed crest embroidery, a bubble lettered font, a kaleidoscopic illustrated pattern (lining the AW77 hoodie), and a cartoonish mascot who seems to be in constant motion. Is he a footballer breaking away on the pitch or a fan blowing a horn in the stands? They are one in the same in Kronk’s mashed-up world.

Just like the other team kits, this one also includes two sneakers and a series of apparel pieces.

For the US Nike chose none other than Mr. Cartoon to collaborate on the team kit.

Calling himself “Mister Cartoon,” this Los Angeles street art legend has had a strong relationship with Nike for many years. His detailed black and white drawings, inspired by prison tattoos, are highly sought after in the music world and beyond. When presented with this project, Cartoon jumped at the opportunity to work on a uniform that would represent the country he loves. His eagle mascot is tough as nails, with a halo of stars and a look in his eye that says, “Don’t mess with the U.S.” On the crest, “USA” is written in Cartoon’s modified version of old English and scrolls remind wearers of the visual language of tattoos art.

Next to the apparel that comes with the team kit, Mr. Cartoon also worked on some sneakers, including the Air Zoom Tiempo, that you see here above.
