Apple iPhone 4 Release Info

Following the completion of Steve Jobs’ WWDC 2010 keynote address, we can now give you the official Apple iPhone 4 release info. From the press release:

“iPhone 4 is the biggest leap since the original iPhone,” said Steve Jobs, Apple’s CEO. “FaceTime video calling sets a new standard for mobile communication, and our new Retina display is the highest resolution display ever in a phone, with text looking like it does on a fine printed page. We have been dreaming about both of these breakthroughs for decades.”

iPhone 4 will be available in the US, UK, France, Germany and Japan on June 24, with pre-orders starting from June 15, 2010. Check the design video here for a full run down of the device!

The Apple iPhone 4G - Official Images

The time has come. After multiple leaks earlier in the year, we get to see official images of the new iPhone 4G by Apple today. It turns out that the leaked iPhone was the new one. The new iPhone 4G comes with:

  • all new design
  • glass on the front and rear
  • front facing camera
  • camera and LED flash on the back
  • thinnest smartphone ever
  • stainless steel band on the exterior acts as antenna (the outer rim of the phone)
  • stainless steel case
  • resolution twice as good as on the 3GS with the Retina display
  • new A4 chip designed by Apple
  • comes with Mircosim to save space
  • imprived battery life by 40%
  • 5 megapixel camera with digital zoom
  • HD video recording

Apple iPod nano With Built-in Video Camera
Apple today unveiled the latest incarnation of iPod nano, adding a video camera, mic and speakers to the best-selling music player. Videos can be shot with fun real-time effects such as Thermal, Film Grain, Kaleido and X-Ray and are uploaded to YouTube with one easy click. A built-in FM radio with live pause and iTunes Tagging is also included in the latest version alongside as a pedometer that syncs up to Nike+. And for that extra kick: a larger 2.2-inch screen and a polished aluminum finish in nine brilliant colors.

The new iPod nano is now available in an 8GB model for $149 USD and a 16GB model for $179 USD.

Certainly worth checking out, should you be looking for a new machine these days!
