T Magazine has just posted an extensive article about Rei Kawakubo and her label Comme des Garcons. Its a super interesting read about the structure of the company, the brands that run under Comme des Garcons and how they interact and differ from any other fashion brand. Anybody with the slightest interest in Comme des Garcons, Japanese fashion or fashion in general, has to read it.

Portfolio.com’s November issue interview with Nigo, entitled,“Fashion’s Next Big Bang” is a fairly revealing look into the world of Bathing Ape’s head honcho, Nigo, a Japanese man through and through who is living a scene out of the 1988 Tom Hank’s movie “Big”. Read the article even if you read the BAPE Bible. For one thing its a nice glimpse into major media coverage of something considered exclusive to a small community.
