A while ago we presented to you the new Artschoolvets Summer 2009 Collection, when it was pre-released at colette. Now the collection has also made it into the official Artschoolvets online store and for the occasion the German online magazine and creative agency has released the above viral video, featuring some familiar Berlin faces.

Berlin based collective Artschoolvets presents their new Summer 2009 T-Shirt Collection. Artschoolvets acts as both a brand and an online platform pushing the creative disciplines in Germany. From the start they have worked with lots of great creative talent to bring something new to the market.

The Artschoolvets Summer 2009 Collection has come out this week. Not taking themselves too serious, the brand presents a fun line-up of t-shirts, perfect for the warmer seasons. Our favorites include the Wrestler series, decorated with the smiley logo, and of course the “Just Dada It”, an instant classic. The t-shirts are now available at colette.

Converse recently worked together with artist Superblast, who got the opportunity to paint over a large scale ad of the sneaker company, in Berlin. Part of the Converse Laces campaign, the artist did not only add his personal touch to the campaign posters, he also customized lots of Converse sneakers in the Converse store in Berlin Mitte.

Our friends from Artschoolvets documented the performance and produced a small viral video of the artist in action. Definitely worth checking out and even better if you can manage to see it live in Berlin.

An interesting new project between adidas and Artschoolvets has just been released. The Artschoolvets team created two versions of the adidas ZX700.

Coming in light grey/white/blue is the “Good ASV” ZX700 sneaker. The counterpart “Bad ASV” sneaker features a black suede/blue suede upper. Both sneakers come in a limited edition of 10 sneakers and are now available in the Artschoolvets online store.

To round of this nice project, Artschoolvets also involved artist Superblast, who got to design another version of the ZX700. A classic brown/orange combination was chosen and came out really nice on the sneaker. Limited to only six pairs, they are now also available in the Artschoolvets online store.

The 4010 store opened its doors last week in Berlin. The new Deutsche Telekom concept store sells all the usual product and presents next to it interesting collaborations, sports a bar, DJ set and much more. Artschoolvets produced a series of t-shirts for the occasion in collaboration with well respected contemporary artists from Germany. The t-shirts are now available in the Artschoolvets Online Store.

As part of the opening of the new 4010 store we are also giving away four (4) tickets to the upcoming NBA game that is taking place in Berlin. The New Orleans Hornets will be playing the Washington Wizards in Berlin and you have the chance to be there.

Our friends from Artschoolvets present just in time for the hot months their newly released Espadrilles. Just in case you are not familiar with these lightweight summer slip-ons, they have a long tradition in the Mediterranean area and are made of wool and straw. Perfect for the beach, perfect with shorts, light and they look pretty good. A change from those hot sneakers is sometimes not too bad.
Artschoolvets presents them in a variety of colorways with logo print on the front. They go for a very human price of 12 Euros.

A little while ago we reported about a new German culture site – Artschoolvets. Beginning of the month they have now also launched a Designer/Artist T-Shirt Series. Mostly local, but also some international designers and artists created t-shirts for the portal. The outcome is a line-up of overall 23 t-shirts. The designs are very diverse, so everybody should find a good match.
Participating artists included Marok (above), Jody Barton (above), Skism, Paze, Daniel Josefsohn, Mirko Borsche, Studio Anti and many others – all in all a very strong line-up.

With great pleasure we can report today about the launch of a project that we have been involved with since the very start – Artschoolvets.
Artschoolvets is a new German online platform with its base in Berlin. The site consists of both a magazine/blogs part and an online store. For now the store offers t-shirts, exclusively designed by high profile designers and artists for Artschoolvets. The line-up is impressive and everybody will be able to find his/her favorite in there. Furthermore the News section reports about the latest products/events, in the Blogs German creatives report about their life and interests/work and in the features section you will be able to find regular editorial content.
There is a lot more in the plans, this is only the beginning. Keep your eyes on the site and check for regular updates!
On a side note, Artschoolvets also have a pop-up store in the Brunnenstrasse 65 in Berlin for the duration of 2 weeks, during Berlin Fashion Week. If you are around, make sure to pass by.
