With the release of the latest collaboration between Sneaker Freaker and Asics getting closer, we get a detailed look at the Gel Lyte 3 “Alvin Purple”. The Australian sneaker magazine keeps it clean on this one, using grey tones and purple accents on the upper, as well as adding some nice details on the heel and laces. We take a closer look at Ronnie Fieg’s latest collaboration with Asics. “The Cove” is a turquoise/blue version of the popular Gel Lyte 3, bringing back the summer with its refreshing looks. The sneaker will be released on September 3rd at DavidZ, with only 225 pairs being available overall.

The popular Asics Gel Lyte 3 has released for Fall 2010 in three new colorways. The runner comes in a black patent/purple colorway, as well as two more colorful options. All three are now available from Mita.

Once again Ronnie Fieg made sure his latest collaborative effort was presented nicely. The Asics Gel Lyte III “The Cove”, inspired by the Bahamas, is featured in his latest photoshoot next to Soraya Yd. The colorway of the sneaker is very refreshing and perfect for the summer, therefore we hope that it drops very soon, before the Fall hits us.

Ronnie Fieg presents a nice photo-spread previewing the new collaboration with Cultureshoq and Asics on the Gel Lyte 3. This second collaboration between the 3 entities comes in a black/white/grey colorway with purple and silver accents. Swimsuit model Amee Enger sports the shoe in the shoot during her regular workout hours.

Ronnie Fieg presents his upcoming collaboration with Asics on the Gel Lyte III on Joli Robinson. The new sneaker will come in a navy/acqua colorway, whith no release info available yet.

The Asics Gel Lyte III “Super Red” release this Friday at 10am on Davidz.com as well as the David Z flagship store in Soho. Priced at $90 and limited to 252 pairs, there will be an exclusive “Super Red” T-Shirt given with each purchase.

In time for summer, Asics presents their new Pastel Pack. The pack consists of the Asics Gel Lyte III and GT II. Both come in some very solid colorways, that are refreshing, yet not going too crazy. Look out for a release of these in May.

Sneaker Freaker has worked on a collaboration with Asics. They chose the Gel Lyte III for this collaboration and it is entitled “Alvin Purple”. The sneaker will be released some time in 2010 with more details and release date to follow soon.

Ronnie Fieg once again presents a beautiful rework of the Asics Gel Lyte III for the summer. The upper comes in navy and the toe in salmon, giving the sneaker a bit of a boat vibe.
