Asics shared a few styles with us for Fall/Winter 2012 at the Agenda Trade Show. These are part of a more accessible line, meaning no Patta, or Ronnie Fieg-type hysteria when it comes to getting some of the brand’s special releases. We see here a couple of solid colors of the popular Gel Lyte III, as well as a slick looking Gel Saga in black, green and purple.

After the Nike LeBron 9 Miami, the second cover of Sneaker Freaker 22 is the much-anticipated Ronnie Fieg x Asics Gel Lyte III ‘Salmon Toe.’ Congrats to Ronnie for making the cover, the shoes look great. They will be released at the new KITH shop, which is opening soon.

Japanese designer/illustrator Jun Watanabe is well known for his colorful work, having contributed collaborative sneaker designs to various brands. The Asics Gel Lyte III becomes his latest victim with a zebra striped upper featuring various brightly colored accents. These will be available exclusively at Eproze come October 2011.

Ronnie Fieg previews a upcoming pair of Asics Gel Lyte III sneakers dubbed the “Leather Backs.” This latest make up features a grey nubuck toe, a perforated pigskin toe box, a black leather heel portion and a teal outsole. Such a tease.. Stay with us a for full look in the coming weeks.

Japanese shoelace brand Zillion worked with Asics on their very own Gel-Lyte III. While their laces are usually quite bold, Zillion went for a more subtle approach on the sneaker, utilizing beige suede and white mesh. Further details include a small Zillion logo on the heel, and a custom wood-boxed pair of laces. Scheduled for release in May 2011.

San Francisco-based brand HUF collaborates with Asics on a Gel-Lyte III for release in June 2011. Embracing HUF’s American roots, the shoe channels the US flag in red, white and blue with star print details on the lining. Subtle HUF branding is present, with a “Circle H” logo embossed on the heel and the HUF name on the insole. We had the pleasure of viewing these at the Asics Friends & Family event in Berlin.

Solebox Berlin has issued a release date for the coming Asics Gel Lyte III collaboration sneaker – Aug 23. The shoe of course follows in the tradition purple shades that are typical of the Solebox releases. A great look for this Asics standard.
