After BEATNIC, we today present the collaboration between Reebok and Japanese retailer atmos for the 25th anniversary 0f the iconic Workout Plus. atmos continues to work with an all-over glow-in-the-dark design, as we have seen many times already in other sneaker collaborations that they have been involved in. Everything, including the sole, laces and lining glows.

The atmos x Reebok Workout will release along with the other retailer collaborations on February 15th, 2012. More pictures of the sneaker follow on our dedicated Reebok Workout 25th Anniversary Microsite.

Japanese retailer atmos has worked with Reebok on a leopard fur version of the Alien Stomper high top sneaker for Holiday 2011. In line with their recent Puma Clyde Leopard, the sneaker comes with black leather and leopard fur panels, sitting on a white mid-sole and black outer sole. A release is scheduled for December 2011. atmos will be releasing a new collaboration with Puma this winter season. They gave the classic Puma Clyde an all Leopard upper in light brown/dark brown. The Made in Japan sneaker will be released at atmos mid November 2011.

atmos continues with their simple, yet very effective collaborations with adidas. While keeping the colors of the sneakers very classic, they add a layer of snake glow-in-the-dark to the upper. We have seen it on the Superstar before, and just a couple of weeks ago on a first ZX8000 as well.

Today we present you the second atmos x adidas ZX8000 G-SNK sneaker, coming in a black colorway with silver Stripes and heel and of course the GID snake pattern all over. The sneaker releases November 2011.

Once again Japanese retailer atmos and New Balance get together. They worked on the winterized version of the iconic 574 running shoe for Fall/Winter 2011 – the H574. The mid top sneaker features vibrant colors on a premium suede material package with perforation detailing.

Those of you not living in Japan are lucky, as these have been released today via Picky Your Shoes as well.

Nobody keeps things as OG as the Japanese. After the series of Superstar 80s releases by Japanese retailer atmos, usually only adding glow in the dark snakeskin uppers, while keeping the OG colors, they have moved on now and given the same treatment to the classic ZX 8000 running shoe. The acqua sneaker with yellow and purple accents and glow in the dark snakeskin panels will be released at atmos October 2011.

Japanese retailer atmos has teamed up with American outerwear brand Marmot on this shell jacket. It’s made out of a lightweight Gore-Tex with waterproofed reversed seams, whilst atmos add their Japanese style using touches of florescent colour on zippers and velcro fastenings. Expect this to be stocked in early October at atmos.

atmos and adidas Originals get once again together and continue working on the Superstar 80’s. Today we present the G-SNK4, a glow in the dark version of the 1980s French made Superstar sneaker. The Japanese retailer gave the sneaker a white snakeskin upper, which lights up brightly when the sun goes down. Other than the glow-in-the-dark feature, atmos plays with vintage details and the history of the iconic sneaker, which will only be apparent to the real sneaker connoisseur. A release is scheduled for end September 2011.

Tokyo retailer atmos has once again worked with Asics on a new version of the Gel Lyte 3. Coming with a tonal black upper, mixing leather and mesh, accents are set in metallic gold on the logo stripes. Furthermore they added a speckled mid sole to the sneaker. The overall result is certainly of the better collaborative efforts on the running shoe. The sneaker will release October 2011.

Today we preview the upcoming collaboration between atmos and Casio on the G-Shock DW-6900. The watch comes in a bright red colorway, with the atmos logo placed on the dial and most likely also on the backlight. In their latest get together, Japanese retailer atmos and Reebok present the Pump Omni Zone ‘Tokyo’. The basketball shoe comes in a black leather colorway with purple accents, neon green branding and speckled details on the side-panels, mid-sole and tongue. Matching their upcoming footwear collaboration on the Thurman Mid, Japanese retailer atmos and Lacoste have also produced two polo shirts. Next to featuring an oversized Lacoste crocodile logo with red accent, the tricolor branding that is also found on the sneakers, is placed on the button line of the polos. Both the sneakers and the polos are releasing June 2011 at atmos.

In their latest collaboration Japanese retailer atmos gets together again with Lacoste. The Thurman Mid, a Chukka like sneaker from the Lacoste range, gets remixed by atmos. The sneaker comes in two colorways featuring accents in the iconic, yet by now overused tricolor colors, apparent on the eyelets, lining and tags. The sneaker pack will see a release some time in May 2011.

Japanese designer Jun Watanabe has teamed up with retailer atmos and Reebok to work on the Pump Fury. The classic sneaker comes in a vibrant black/blue/pink colorway, featuring a white polka dot pattern over most of the upper. The sneaker will officially release May 2010 at Eproze.

Tokyo retailer, and famed sneaker spot, atmos worked with Oakley on two pairs of ‘Splatter’ themed sunglasses. The Frogskin and Jawbone frames were both treated to a colorful splattering of paint, alongside glow in the dark details and custom softcases. Both frames are now available through atmos.

After having presented a burgundy colorway of the atmos x adidas Originals Superstar 80s glow-in-the-dark a while ago, we can present today a black croc version of the sneaker. Once again the sneaker has a very simple and overall clean appearance, only revealing its real features in the dark – the entire upper lights up. atmos unveils a forthcoming Reebok Insta Pump Fury, celebrating the Tokyo retailer’s 10th year in business. Featuring an all-white leather upper with sparse blue accents, the sneaker borrows somewhat from the adicolor campaign of the past, coming packaged with a black marker. Do with it what you must. Japanese store atmos is known for not being shy of using strong colors on their sneaker collaborations. The outcome of these collaborations has turned out over the years, both amazing and sometimes questionable. Their latest collaboration with New Balance on the H574J ABK certainly ranks among the good ones to come from them in recent time. The black and white leather polka dot upper gets accented with a nice turquoise tone. Pre-orders for the sneaker start January 31st and it will see a release February 2011.
