Public School, one of the new conspirators in the wave of young designers, introduces their second collection for Autumn/Winter 2008. Created by Dao-Yi Chow and Maxwell Osborne, the Autumn/Winter collection continues to capture the attitude and rebellious spirit of New York. “More of a continuation from Spring (Public School’s introductory collection) than a new concept, Public School’s AW 2008 collection will highlight finding perfection through imperfection and being able to accomplish a lot with just a little,” says Chow. Public School has been known for creating clean imperfections in their designs, providing consumers with added elements such as removable plackets on zip front jackets, convertible collars on woven shirts and detachable fingerless leather gloves on parkas, just to name a few.

Silhouettes primarily focus on outerwear, offering an array of materials such as nylon, wool/leather mixes and thermal. Constructed wool plays a huge part in the collection, offering a cropped wool peacoat, a wool vest with a leather collar and an updated varsity jacket with removable sleeves. There is also an emphasis on trim and hardware: chunky zippers, a progressive use of oversized studs and leather-wrapped d-rings. Foundation colors remain the same – black, white, khaki, heather gray and chalkboard green.

From the very first time that we saw Public School at Capsule NYC, we liked the collection, as it is simple to wear, but not boring and especially the little details that each piece features are very interesting.

We present you some of the latest interesting pieces of the Undercover Autumn/Winter2008 "UnrealReal Clothes" collection. This time the brand remixed two classics – the duck boot and the down jacket. The duck boot comes with a mixed suede/rubber upper and two zippers on the front. The down jacket has been fused with the leather biker jacket. The body comes from the classic down coat and the sleeves come from the biker jacket. Overall they present four colorways of the jacket. Pics via Jun Takashi.

After showing you first images of the WTAPS Autumn/Winter 2008 collection a couple of weeks ago, we present you today a further look at the line, entitled "Red Dawn".

As usual the brand presents a series of strong outerwear pieces, this season playing with Gore-Tex, leather and also fur. Also nice colors appear in the new line, not sticking to black and white, like one sees so often. A good mix of classic pieces and more attention seeking pieces make up the new collection. Once again a very exciting collection, that we cannot wait to get into stores for.

As part of their on-going collaboration with Penfield, Wood Wood has developed an impressive leather down jacket, as part of their Autumn/Winter 2008 collection. 

The jacket has been one year in the making and when seeing the final piece now, it has been well worth it. Cow leather on the exterior, a light down filling and six external pockets, make this a great piece for the colder months. Branding as usual stays minimal, with a logo tag inside and very small logo tags on the side pocket.

Expect the Penfield + Wood Wood leather down jacket to come to stores very soon.

Bape has released several boots as part of their Autumn/Winter 2008 collection. Takinga more classical route, Bape presents the Bapesta Foot Soldier and the Bapesta Center Seam. Both come in a beige and a black colorway and make for a nice and solid winter shoe.

First t-shirts out of the Undercover Autumn/Winter 2008 collection have been released. Once again Jun Takashi presents a strong set of graphics, clearly setting him apart in style from other brands out there. A nice range of t-shirts and longsleeves is now available in the SlamJam online store.

Newly released from the Original Fake Autumn/Winter 2008 collection, comes this "Better Fake Than Real" zip-up hoodie. Featuring the same graphic that we have previously seen on a t-shirt, it comes this time on the back of a hoodie embroidered. Other nice details include the Kaws Chumpers teeth design on the zipper.

Nike continues to produce the 10AC collection in collaboration with Uno Coal. Here we present you the Autumn/Winter 2008 collection. 
The new Nike 10AC Autumn/Winter 2008 collection consists of hoodies, shorts, pants, sweaters, beanies and of course also sneakers. This seasons sneaker is the M.A.T. (Martial Arts Training), in a mid size and of course the usual black/white colorway with a logo on the heel.
The new collection is now available in the Uno Coal online store.
