We have been fans of the Givenchy backpacks for a while. Last season’s Rottweiler pack was incredible. The new Spring/Summer 2012 Obsidia Backpack is much more subtle, yet great for everyday use, while clearly looking premium. The glossed canvas backpack comes in black and features tonal leather trimmings throughout. Further details include the concealed zip patch pocket and embossed logo detail on the front.

We already presented some iPad cases earlier and today we present the all new Syd Backpack. The backpack comes with a pony hair upper, featuring a leopard all-over print. Lexdray has teamed up with the talented LA production company Wendel, to give you an up close look at the ins and outs of each Lexdray bag. Now you can see (in 3D) each electronic compartment, weather resistant fabric and military grade hardware component, close up, so you can get a feel for all the intricate details.

Releasing later this year is a collaborative capsule collection by Incase and artist Shepard Fairey. Together the two produced a nice range of items, comprised of bags and backpacks, as well as laptop sleeves, iPad and iPhone cases. The artist created compelling graphics and patterns for the collection, which is branded with both ‘Shepard Fairey’ and ‘Obey’.

Look out for a release in the coming months.

New for Spring 2012, the BEATLES Comme des Garcons collection will be introducing some backpacks. Rucksacks in tartan prints or in all black, both with the iconic green apple and beatles logo, will be available in two sizes. Also, two new tartan shirts will be produced, in either red or blue check. these will be sold exclusively at Dover Street Market, and Comme des Garçons Paris and New York shops from February 17th, until they launch elsewhere in April.

CASH CA has not only worked with Keds, but also with immun again for Spring/Summer 2012. Once again they offer a solid range of luggage items for the new season, including the large backpack, the day pack and adding this season a tote bag and a travel pouch. In terms of colors they offer yellow/navy and beige/brown options, which look very nice, but are not as strong as last season’s.

nanamica never disappoints when it comes to their bag collections. For Spring/Summer 2012 the Japanese brand presents their Day Pack and Cycling Backpack in all camouflage. They chose to go with the classic green camo pattern, featured both on the nylon parts and leather parts of the two backpacks. They are now both in stock at Soto Berlin.

Fans of the label’s Plantlife items will be happy to see boxer shorts available 3 great colors including light gray, black, and a really soothing green color. The camo bag range consisting of a pouch, backpack, and duffle is looking crispy, too.

Japanese premium luggage brand Head Porter presents a bunch of great new materials and patterns for their new Spring/Summer 2012 Collection. Next to the Tank line, we especially like the all new Regatta collection, which nicely mixes classic colors with popping accents. The Neon Collection also looks good, mixing fine leathers with neon accents with an overall premium appeal that reminds of Comme des Garcons. A colorful leopard camouflage pattern is introduces with the Amur Collection.

Today we get a nice preview of the upcoming Spring/Summer 2012 Lamina 22L backpack by Japanese brand visvim. The brand produced an interesting pattern for the new season, placed on the upper of the backpack, with the bottom coming in the micro corduroy that we already saw in last season’s visvim collection. Look out for a release of the backpack in the coming weeks.

Herschel’s Fall 2012 season continues to look better and better with another collection called The Field Collection. The bag makers looked to the rugged sport of Rugby for inspiration here as illustrated by the striped patterns, but also with the use of the always durable Cordura Brand Fabric. The collection is comprised of 6 styles including an over the shoulder bag, a tote, 3 backpacks, and a duffle bag, with each featuring a tasteful stripes in great colors.

The AP Series Fitzroy rucksack features the Arkiv® closure system and is made with a 1000 denier VX Cordura ripstop shell backed with a PTFE waterproof membrane. In addition, the Fitzroy is lined with a lightweight VX70 ripstop liner. All of which results in an exceptionally durable and beautifully constructed barrier to the elements.

This VX large rucksack is now available in black and slate at Mission Workshop.
