Unfortunately Japan always seems to be getting the better product, even from brands that are originally from the US. We have been discussing this internally over and over again. Brands such as The North Face, Red Wing, Woolrich and others all make high end collections exclusively for the Japanese market.

The same holds true for Gregory. Here we show you the Japan only backpacks, which come in special colors and more high end materials.

Winter arrives in monochrome as QWSTION launches the limited edition ‘Black & White Collection’. Built in the QWSTION quintessential look, dark is contrasted with light in a new visual twist from the edge of industrial design. Joining three emblematic colours, QWSTION bags – Sports, Messenger, Shoulder, Simple, 3-Day Travel and original Backpack – are available in black and white versions until stocks last.

If you are looking for something a little more attention seeking, you might want to check out the new backpacks by Japanese brand Revolver. The technical backpacks come in three metallic colorways with equally strong colored details.

A couple of days ago we showed you the Mouton Waist Bags by Visvim. We are not really waist bag fans, but the matching Ballistic 20L Pelt backpacks we would take any day. Coming in two colorways with soft deer skin bottoms and fur lining, these are just perfect for the winter. They are now available at Figure.

Luggage label Bruxe is introducing the new Bruxe Blueline Collection, a quickstrike for special retail outlets for Holiday 2008. Straight out of Canada, Bruxe has a long design history in bags and utilizes futuristic design and materials to stand out from the norm in the market. All Bruxe backpacks and bags offer a little more bag for the buck and great storage features.

Following up on previous presentations of the Deluxe Autumn/Winter 2008 collection, we present you the latest product, that the Japanese brand has released.
In this latest drop you will find a collaboration with Outdoor on a series of backpacks, as well as some nice button down shirts in check and chambray, blazers, hats and more.

Following up on our recent post on the latest Futura Laboratories clothing releases, we present you here their new set of bags out of the Marker & Painting series. 
The collection offers several different styles of messenger bags and backpacks in different colorways, each featuring a graffiti inspired design. The line is now available at the FL Shop.

Gravis continues this coming Spring with their successful luggage and backpack line. Standouts from Fall 2008 included a a collection which used yellow tarping material as a mainstay giving the line a very unique lookand durability. For Spring 2009, Gravis has moved to an orange tarp, properly names "spicy orange" against a variety of silhouettes including backpacks Metro and Contra, and rollaway luggage Trekker and Jetset, and messengers, Hobo Med and Digi. The second standout colorway is the multicolored Baltic which is available across the same silhouette set.

It is that time of the year again, Supreme is presenting their new Fall/Winter 2008 collection.
The new Supreme collection works with a lot of plaid, we see it on jackets, shirts, 5 panel caps as well as New Era Caps this season. In general workwear is once again a big inspiration, especially when looking at the jacket line-up of the season. Branding is in most cases subtle. The heavy-weight hoodies come with little embroidery this season and are more basic – there is a series of polka dot hoodies and a series of striped hoodies. The leather offering is quiet large, consisting of short stadium jackets, as well as heavy parkas and leather down jackets.
The accessories department this season offers Everlast Boxing gloves, ashtrays, 5 panel caps, New Era caps, backpacks, scarves and a couple of other nice pieces.
The Supreme Fall/Winter 2008 collection is very solid. There are not many stand-out pieces this season, at the same time each piece in the line is looking pretty good. Supreme is certainly becoming a brand that one can wear wear every day and many styles of. As usual we are very pleased.

New York’s Capsule tradeshow is in full effect and very busy these days. We passed by the Nike booth today and took a first look at the Sportswear Spring 2009 collection. 
Dubbed "Earthquake" collection by us, for lack of a better description, Nike presents a series of pieces in the line. Backpacks, travel bags and windrunners all feature a photographic print all-over.
The collection will definitely find its fans.
