The first Asics Gel Lyte III collaboration worldwide was created by Ronnie Fieg for David Z. in May of 2007. One year and 4 GT III collabs later, Ronnie has expanded his David Z make-up arsenal to many other successful collabs with numerous brands and has built a strong following around the globe. This time around Ronnie has decided to pull a style out of the Asics archives and work with the GT Quick. Despite other GT Quick releases popping up all over the net, Fieg was the first to work on this style designing this color-up back in September of ‘07. For the GT Quick release, Ronnie has teamed up with Complex magazine for an in store event. AT THIS EVENT RONNIE WILL ALSO LAUNCH A GEL LYTE III THAT HAS BEEN KEPT A SECRET AND AWAY FROM THE PRESS.
This Thursday at 9pm there will be a friends and family celebration in the newly opened David Z shop in Times Square. For the event and the first 50 in-store purchases on Friday, there will be a high grade white leather bag and a matching purple Asics t-shirt given with purchase, each style priced at $100.00. 200 pairs per style will be available to the public on Friday June 20th on Davidz.com as well as the flag ship store.

In 2002 artist Stash teamed up with Gravis in 2002 to create a series of products to coincide with his exhibition at Colette. Now they dug in the archives and released some pieces of the collaboration. 
Recon now carries the pack online, consisting of the digi laptop bag and premium leather shoes. If you ever wanted the pack, this might be your only chance.

The newest piece to grace the Levi Strauss archives is also probably the oldest. Dated back to 1875, this precious pair of denim waist overalls was discovered in a nevada mining town. Made with 9 ounce denim from the Amoskeag mill in Manchester, New Hampshire.
The precious original pair, nicknamed the Oldest Oldest now resides in a fireproof safe in the Levi Strauss Archives in San Francisco.

Since its first collection was released last year, the Canadian brand Ransom has become a favorite. Classics are nicely re-interpreted with new materials and functionality. The line stays subtle, but is not boring.
That also seems to be the case with their upcoming Fall ‘08 collection. Matt George gives us a first look at some key pieces, including a nice hunting jacket with matching pants, a quilted shirt and also their first move into luggage.
