The Fred Perry x Comme Des Garcons Spring/Summer ‘08 collection has been released and is now available online at Triads. This is the last collection of this collaboration, as this winter Raf Simons will be working with Fred Perry instead.
Available now are polo shirts, the rib bomber jacket and also several bags. More images after the jump.

For the upcoming Eric Elms exhibition at Colette, Silly Thing’s sub-label Chapel Of Dawn has produced a canvas tote bag. The bag comes with lots of high quality prints and references both Colette and Eric Elms. Pic via TK.

Japanese designer and artist Skate-Thing, who is also the creative director at A Bathing Ape, now worked with Base Control on some items. He designed a couple of t-shirts, boxer shorts and also a matching bag. Via Shinsuke Takizawa.

Eastpack got together with X-Girl to work on a series of bags. The outcome is a backpack and travel bag covered in a zebra pattern with pink accents.

A tribute to the hugely popular and critically acclaimed TV sitcom, “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air”, PUMA takes a look back at 148 episodes of freshness.

Inspired by the hugely popular sitcom “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air”, starring Will Smith as a young street smart teenager from West Philadelphia who is sent to live with his rich Aunt and Uncle in a huge Bel-Air mansion. The show, which aired between 1990 and 1996, delivered many laughs and is credited for accelerating the growth of hip hop fashion around the globe.
The inspiration for the products is drawn from the lifestyle clash of street versus preppy, declined in two very different footwear styles, each completed with matching wristwatches:

The West Philly First Round, which sports the original graffiti artwork featured in the opening sequence of the show. This sequence had a similar look & feel as the music videos DJ Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince were creating at the time. Shoe features include a classic suede vamp, a rubber fine mold Fresh Prince of Bel Air logo on the tongue and 3D screen-printed side panel.

The white croc Bel-Air Clyde is embossed with classic croc and constructed with the best Italian leather available. The shoe features a PUMA X Fresh Prince medallion badge, metallic gold form strip and lining, Bel Air raised screenprint and exclusive artwork from the graffiti wall on the sockliner.

Both shoes come in a specially designed velvet bag with metallic gold embroidery. 1032 pairs per style will be available at select retailers world-wide. The watches follow the same principle: first the acid green PU wristband Agitation digital model, contrasts against the heavy-quality golden Forcer Bel-Air model.
Hanon will be carrying both packs as of May.

Here a nice collaboration between Resonate and Visvim. They used the Visvim waist bag as a canvas and applied the Resonate signature camouflage pattern on it. The bag has now been released in Japan. Via Revolution Information.

Beams Plus now got together with Kelty to release a series of backpacks. Since 1952, Kelty has built affordable, reliable outdoor gear. In the mean time the brand of course offers a big line-up of technical backpacks as well as other goods, but Beams Plus worked on one of their classic vintage pieces.
The Beams Plus x Kelty “Condor” backpack comes in 5 colorways, looks very simple on the outside, but features a nice set of functional pockets on the inside.

We present you the Head Porter “Snow White” collection that will drop at the Head Porter Nagoya store on the 10th of March. It consists of Messenger Bag, Boston Bag, Pouch, DS Lite Case, Wallet, iPod Case and Tote Bag. Via Honeyee.

XLarge and X-Girl got together with Yayoi Kusama and with Porter to release two bags. XLarge worked on a messenger bag and X-Girl worked on a tote bag. Both bags are manufactured by Porter Japan and come in a black/pink colorway.

Together Incase and John Mayer created a simple, reusable, “green” utility/grocery bag made from hemp that was given to all the passengers of Mayercraft Carrier Cruise last weekend. With one large volume and two buttoned flap pockets on the front for a wallet, keys or sunglasses, it was the perfect accessory for anyone cruising on the ship.
