We have to admit that around summer time this year we could just not see the AF1 anymore – with the 25th anniversary celebrations so many dropped, that one just got lost. Lately it slowed down a little and the consequence is that one can appreciate the releases a little more.

Here we present one of the most special releases of the entire year – the White DJ Pack. Nike got together with Head Porter and Serato to create a quite unique pack. There is a Nike AF1, which comes with an upper made up of nylon and suede. Along with the sneaker there is a white Head Porter DJ Bag and a Serato Scratch Live (a software and hardware solution to britch the analog world of the vinyl and the digital computer world), which also comes in white. The AF1 also features the Serato Scratch Live logo embroidered on the back heel. Pics via HF.

As part of their Autumn/Winter 2007 collection, UK label Griffin got together with Berlin messenger bag specialists Bagjack. They created a camouflage messenger bag, featuring the Griffin logo embroidered. The outershell is made of Cordura®, a high-performance fabric resistant to abrasions, tears, and scuffs. The bag is made to order and one has the option to get the bottom in either bright orange, black or white Cordura® for maximum durability.

We have presented you already all three colorways of the Alife Rivington Club x Penfield Walkabout Down Jacket, but now we have some more info on it and on the release. The jacket will come with a nylon bag in the same colorway as the jacket, so that you can put it away nicely. It will be released along with the Alife x Timberland 6″ Wheat boot this coming Saturday, September 22nd and will go for 250 USD. That is as usual with Penfield, a good price for a nice and warm winter jacket.

Here we have an interesting new collaboration between designer Jeremy Scott and French luggage label Longchamp. The French label is mainly known these days for their “Pliage” series of bags. Pliage means “folding”. All the bags can be folded into a much smaller size than their actual size, to be put away. The classic has now been redesigned by Jeremy Scott with the poodle design.
The bag is now available in the Colette online store and priced at 90 Euros (115 USD) that is not too crazy at all. The bag is limited to 100 pieces and only available at Colette.

For this coming Fall/Winter ‘07 season Visvim and Undercover came together to release some messenger bags. Based on the classic Visvim Ballistic series Undercover added its own flavor to them. We only have this preview picture via TK, but you can already see little changes such as fur linings and the addition of color here and there on the usually plain Visvim bags. For sure something to look out for! Should we get better pictures of this collaboration we’ll give you an update!

It was clear that with the drop of the iPhone it would not take long for some hot cases to come out. We have seen Louis Vuitton iPhone cases and also by Incase and many others. Now Hiroshi Fujiwara also previews the Head Porter x Fragment Design iPhone case. As much as we appreciate the Head Porter brand for their high quality cases, pouches and bags, we do prefer the iPhone cases that protect the phone also while using it, such as the Incase one. But int he end its a personal choice.
