Holden announces their collaboration with Canadian bag company Herschel Supply Co. The line is designed to pack, hold, and organize everything needed for the journey ahead. A classic school backpack, a duffel bag, a vintage-inspired scouting bag, and a technical backcountry backpack have all been reinvented with woolen and genuine-leather materials. The Holden x Herschel collection is will be available at holdenouterwear.com/shop, herschelsupply.com, and stores worldwide.

Herschel’s Fall 2012 season continues to look better and better with another collection called The Field Collection. The bag makers looked to the rugged sport of Rugby for inspiration here as illustrated by the striped patterns, but also with the use of the always durable Cordura Brand Fabric. The collection is comprised of 6 styles including an over the shoulder bag, a tote, 3 backpacks, and a duffle bag, with each featuring a tasteful stripes in great colors.

Isetan will be releasing this exclusive soft colored checkered pattern Head Porter collection consisting of 5 items. As you can see here, a couple of different wallets, a pouch, an iPad pouch and iPad case will be offered at the Japanese retailer.

Here is a preview of one of our favorite new tote bags to come from Louis Vuitton for Spring/Summer 2012. The bag comes in a nice thin brown premium leather with both short leather handles and long canvas handles. A nice color hit on the side acts as a great contrast to the otherwise super clean bag. All in all a well balanced and modern daily tote.

After the lookbook, we today take a closer look at the Bape Spring/Summer 2012 Collection. Collaborations in the new season include caps with Starter, bags with Porter, peacoats with Schott, as well as a full range of clothing, sneakers, and accessories.

We already previewed the Jil Sander python print t-shirts, here is now a look at the python iPad Show Bag. Rather than only being a case, the added straps turn the piece into a wearable bag.

“This strapped body-bag is crafted from finely-detailed python print leather, in a futuristic shade of blue. Taking its lead from the document bags worn by travellers, it hints of the youthful and often nomadic nature of the designer’s style. The piece is designed to fit an iPad and can be carried around the neck via one of two straps, the other of which is designed to secure the piece around the waist.”

The bag is now in stock at Oki-Ni.

A pretty cool new tote bag comes out of a collaboration between Levi’s Japan and Harris Tweed. Of course both denim fabrics and Harris Tweed fabrics are used on the bag, which comes with nice leather reinforced leather straps. The bag is now available from the e-Levi online store.

Right before the end of the year, Japanese brands Neighborhood and Challenger have teamed up again and present a series of tote bags. Coming with different canvas uppers, the bags are available with camo patterns and in solid colors with printed graphics. Leather has been added to the bottom of the bags and handles, adding a premium flair and durability to them.

From top to bottom, White Mountaineering’s Wardrobe collection produces some of the nicest, cleanest and most wearable pieces out there. It’s much more basic in appearance and less technical than the regular White Mountaineering line, but it illustrates Yosuke Aizawa’s range quite nicely. Wardrobe consists largely of tops, a few bottoms, and minimal accessories, but one highlight of it all are these Selspan Corduroy backpacks. Basic and sophisticated, they come in 5 colors including black, navy, brown, khaki and gray. We’re partial towards the khaki color, what do you guys think?

White Mountaineering is without a doubt one of the most interesting brands coming from Japan at the moment. Offering an innovative outdoor look, the brand always plays with interesting materials and patterns in its collections.

Here we take a look at their collaboration with Porter for Spring/Summer 2012. The three piece offering, includes two backpacks and an army bag, all three made of used denim and featuring nice leather details at the bottom and on the upper.
