Japanese label BAL has new set of “Hawaiian shirt” patterned bags for summer produced by… Who else but Porter? The washed out colors of the backpack work well, where the black and white pineapples strike us as a little odd to be honest. (cool-trans)

After presenting earlier today the work by Japanese brand BAL with George Cox on some footwear, we take a look at another interesting collaboration coming from them for Fall/Winter 2011. They got together with Alpha to work on the classic MA-1 jacket. The jacket comes in a bi-tonal olive green colorway, featuring lots of custom patches and embroiders on the front and back. A release is only scheduled for November 2011 through Grandh.

British shoe manufacturer George Cox aligns his name with Japanese label BAL for the fifth time. As part of their Fall/Winter 2011 collection, the two cooked up a hybrid saddle shoe featuring a thick black jagged sole. A bit of a post-Prada feel to these. Out mid-December 2011.

Japanese label BAL presents their Fall/Winter 2011 Collection Lookbook. Comprised of riders jackets by Cyder House, shoes by George Cox, boots by Diemme, down vests by Wild Things, and an assortment of other jackets, sweats, pants and accessories, the series ranks (in accordance with our tastes) as probably the strongest line we’ve seen for FW11 thus far. Well done BAL.

For their Fall/Winter 2011 Collection, Japanese brand BAL has gotten together with Italian boot makers Diemme. Together they present two interesting versions of the Diemme Roccia Boot, featuring a ballistic nylon and alternatively a leopard fur upper. You will still have to wait a little for the release of the boots, as the official drop is scheduled for November 2011.

For Spring/Summer 2011 Japanese label BAL is offering a new shoe style called the Straightchip. Mating a sneaker DNA with a few more dressed up attributes – such as the lacing system – BAL achieves a unique look that many may be attracted to. Six different suede colorways are now on pre-order through Dedue.

Bal and Porter worked together on a very practical – and good looking – camera sling alongside a matching camera case/gadget pouch. Constructed of a combination of nylon, leather and metal and plastic closures, the case comes in olive or beige with black accents. Dedue is taking pre-orders for the proxy set, with an expected April delivery.

Stussy has collaborated with Japanese brand BAL. They worked on two colorways of the tee, one releasing at BAL retailers and the other one only dropping at Stussy stores.

Bal preview a premium leather and suede Riders Jacket from their Fall/Winter 2010 lineup. Available in black, grey or blue, the jacket features a number of well interpreted Riders Jacket trappings in addition to a contrast leopard print lining. Pre-orders are on now at Dedue for a late November delivery.

Sneaker Type Shoe. Their words, not ours. Anyways, British shoemaker George Cox is working with the Japanese folks at Bal for the third, this round coming up with a more original silo. “Original” of course is to be taken lightly, as we’re clearly looking at a Half-Cab meets Creeper with bit of horsehair and D-rings thrown in. A valiant effort. These come out in November.
