This Fall season Nike will be releasing lots of Dunks featuring canvas on the upper. The first two have already been released. A Dunk Low coming in beige/brown/orange and a Dunk High in grey/red. The canvas almost looks like ballistic and gives the sneakers a more casual look. In the case of the Dunk Low one might even mistake it for hemp.

Since several seasons now, Nike SB also offers a backpack and some matching accessories, including wallets and pouches. So far it most of the time came featuring the elephant print, which was nice, but definitely not exciting. Today we give you a preview of the Nike SB Skate Pack ‘08, which is definitely a great piece.
Their new backpack is very technical, comes with a multitude of compartments and an overall interesting choice of colors and premium materials, nothing like we have seen before from them. In terms of style the pack reminds us a little of this seasons collection by Raf Simons for Eastpak.

The Ballistic E-Cat 18 Messenger Bag by Visvim has become a favorite in recent years, especially in the flood of messenger bags that were suddenly hitting the market. The mix of the ballistic and elk leather always looks great and also performs (even though if you only look at performance, there is better out there).
They have now released the Spring/Summer ‘08 version of the messenger bag in three colorways – brown, khaki and black. All three come with a colorful zipper, which is a nice twist. They are now available at Reinforce.

We continue to report about the Visvim New Year Collection. First we showed you the FBT and Kiefer Hi’s that come in two black colorways each, with red or respectively blue accents. Along with the shoes they will also release items out of their Ballistic luggage series. The Ballistic 20 backpack and the Ballistic E-Cat 28 messenger bag also each come in two black colorways with red/blue accents. Via Figure.

The other day we showed you a first messenger bag out of the latest Visvim Ballistic “Mountain” series. The new collection consists of bags and backpacks in brown, khaki and white, all featuring tonal patches all over.
In the new series there is the Ballistic E-Cat 18″ Messenger Bag, Ballistic 20 Pack and the Ballistic 25k Pack. Pics via Figure.
Definitely overall a very nice new series, you just have to figure out whether you are into the patches. For many out there, when dropping a considerable amount of money on a bag, they want to keep it simple.

Once again Visvim released some nice products as part of their Holiday ‘07 collection. The Single Scoop Border Hoodie dropped, featuring pockets like a biking jersey in the back. The same one already came out as a crewneck, now it comes as a hoodie. Also they released new cashmere knit beanies. This time around very basic, in four colorways. The Gutter Belt also dropped, something for people that are into studs.
The highlight in this drop is for sure the new Ballistic E-Cat 18 Messenger Bag. It comes in all black with elk skin bottom and with patches embroidered on the upper. The patches replicate classic mountain inspired patches. In this case they come tonal in all black, but still give a winter feel to the bag. Pics via ReInForce.

Here we have an interesting new collaboration of Stussy and Turntable Lab. They created two bags – the Serato DJ Backpack and Serato DJ Tote Bag.
The DJ Backpack comes in 100% ballistic nylon, measures @ 12″ wide x 20″ tall, holds 10-15 records, has an inner laptop compartment, includes Stussy-Lab branded flashlight, tonal camouflage interior and accents, removable waterproof cover, padded back with air-flow technology and a large exterior mesh pocket. All that for 120 USD.
The DJ Tote Bag also comes in 100% ballistic nylon, measures @ 13″ wide x 15″ tall x 8″ deep, is fully padded, holds 30-40 records, top of bag can be zippered off for crate style access, has an inner laptop compartment, removable case for Serato interface, tonal camouflage interior and accents, an inner mesh pocket for cables and is water resistant bottom. It goes for 100 USD.

Official is pleased to announce the release of it’s Ballistic/3M fitteds set for a street date of November 9th, 2007. Striving to constantly set precedence and apply atypical materials to their fitted silhouette, they have now broken new ground with this drop by utilizing 9oz Ballistic Nylon for the crown and visor and 3M Reflective Fabric (8905) as a detail feature for the sandwich bill and top button. Symbolically these fitteds make your head bulletproof.
The set consists of overall two caps – Neu Trojan and Go Ballistic. The Neu Trojan features the UNI-AKorn logo. The horn is the nozzle of an AK-47 with the horse’s mane and tail composed of automatic weapon silhouettes as well. Go ballistic is the minimal approach to ballistic fitted headwear. The plain black fitted is a classic and by adding 3M, contrast red stitch and ballistic nylon the cap stays subtle with a twist.

Once again Visvim expands their luggage collection, this time with a trolly – the Ballistic Wheel Case. It was about time the brand provided some real travel luggage. As usual they use ballistic material on the entire upper of the Wheel Case and have added many details and lots of functionality.
If you really think about it, Visvim is getting very close with their luggage line to the one of Tumi. Tumi is a high-end American luggage maker known to produce their luggage with ballistic material since forever. It would actually be interesting to see a comparison of the Visvim Wheel Case and the Tumi competitor.
We are also hoping to see a smaller weekend Wheel Case by Visvim. Anyways, the one you see here is now available at the Honeyee Store.

For this coming Fall/Winter ‘07 season Visvim and Undercover came together to release some messenger bags. Based on the classic Visvim Ballistic series Undercover added its own flavor to them. We only have this preview picture via TK, but you can already see little changes such as fur linings and the addition of color here and there on the usually plain Visvim bags. For sure something to look out for! Should we get better pictures of this collaboration we’ll give you an update!
